"The property is in central Old San Juan, so great location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thought we were getting a suite that faced inside courtyard. Ended up with one on the streetside. Was the noisiest hotel we ever stayed at. Make sure to get inside room at check-in. Noise doesn't stop until early morning and started with construction noise before dawn. "

"Our room lacked basic amenities (like decent pillows) and comfort items, and it was SO NOISY we couldn’t get to sleep until 3 in the morning. "

"Perfect location to explore Old San Juan. Elevators are small and usually there is a wait. King suites lovely but you hear a lot of noise at night from the square, including roosters and garbage trucks. Smaller room have no exterior windows—only a frosted one overlooking interior courtyard. You have to go out for any kind of breakfast selection but there is a nice cafe steps away. Restaurants in the hotel are very expensive, both for drinks and food. Plunge pool on the roof is hard to get in and out of."

"Pros- Room was clean. Ocean view side was amazing. Some restaurants options around. Cons- Parking is about 10-15 min walking over cobble stones and some stairs. The staff person when i checked in was not helpful. Will not give you an option to check in a few minutes later and then make you wait 15 because everyone is checking in at the same time and they only have one person in front. There’s no one answering the phone for help once you are in your room so you actually have to go to the counter. And no one answers the phone provided by on expedia website or google. "
