"We loved our stay at Lost Creek Bluebird. We didn't expect the commute to the marina but loved the seclusion of the house. We had some of our family come in from St. Louis and some came from NE Arkansas and the house was a perfect meeting place where we were all under one roof. We played games, roasted marshmallows, made cupcakes and just enjoyed each others company."

"I was pretty disappointed with my experience. We booked and paid for this stay up front. The Tuesday before our stay the host told us the unit was being repaired and that it might not be done for our Friday night stay. We were not contacted prior to this. Turns out the property would be completed and we could still come for our stay. I appreciated the communication up until that point. When we arrived the unit seemed ready. However, there was no central air. There was a window unit in the living room and a portable unit in the back bedroom. These did not keep the unit cool. We had to go purchase fans ourselves to make it bearable to stay in the unit. I contacted the host to see if there was anything we could do and never received a response from him at all. The place had bug traps all over and what looked like black mold by the hot water heater. Part of the living room carpet was also wet our entire stay. This was my first experience using Vrbo, and now I am not so sure I will use this app to find a place again. I was disappointed by the lack of response when we said we had a problem with the unit."

"The location is somewhat remote and consequently very quiet and private. Loved that. Cell signal was intermittent and there was no television, no DVD player which forced the family to actually spend time together playing games and talking. Glad we did it."

"Very convenient for nearby activities. Very clean, great kitchen, very nice bedding and towels better than most hotels. Efficient HVAC. Perimeter could be spruced up. Better mowing, rock in driveway, marking of property. Excellent interior, however, for the price"

"The house is nice and cozy and clean. The furniture is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensil and pans. LOTS of towels and toilet paper! The owners are very nice and accommodating. Ice and firewood are available for inexpensive cash purchase on property. Very easy access to the lake and marina. The only challenge was the WiFi. It worked ok for some streaming services, but less so for anything else. We had a lot of fun. Hope to see you again soon!"
