"Nice central location. "

"This was a weekend away with my wife, the hotel is located in the centre of Great Malvern. The hotel is located on a quite road next to the Abbey, when we arrived Just before 1 pm, we were able to book in early as our room was ready, which was a bonus. I had completed the online booking in form prior to travel the day before, so when we arrived I only had to register the car, signed the registration document and give my credit card for pre-authorisation, so from arrival to being booked in was completed in a couple of minutes. I had booked afternoon tea for 1pm on the day of arrival, this was very good and the sandwiches were fresh and the small cakes were excellent, my only criticism would be there was no table cloth on the table, which took away from the overall look of the presentation. We were give a table with a window view of the valley and plain below the town. The food quality in the hotel was very good and staff service is excellent A visit to the Abbey is well worth a visit and also the Abbey gardens (located just behind the theatre) are very nice to walk a round on a pleasant which we had had on the Sunday. I was lucky to be able to book for a show in the forum theatre on the Sunday afternoon. The Town of Great Malvern is a lovely little town with a good selection of Restaurants and cafes and also boutique shops, I can recommend Peppe’s Italian Restaurant, we had an excellent meal here on Saturday night. This is just a five minute walk from the hotel."

"BEAUTIFULL PLACE FOR A FEW DAYS BREAK"

"We and a group of friends enjoyed a one night stay at the Feathers in February 2025. We occupied room 216 which overlooks the high st. The room was on the small side but was comfortably furnished and the bathroom was a good size and had been recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and we were able to sleep with the window open. The common areas of the hotel are attractive and there is a cozy lounge and bar. Breakfast was good. We did have to wait 45+ minutes for our cooked breakfast to arrive but the manager did not charge us for it so no complaints Ludlow is lovely. Excellent independent shops, pubs restaurants and markets "

"Very pleasantly surprised and overall an excellent experience in what could be regarded as a low budget hotel, but should not be deemed or feared as such. On Positive notes, Every member of staff that I interacted with, were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful and i could not have been more pleased with their attitude and demeanor plus everyone that i meet was well dressed and smart, a pleasure to see in this day and age of dress down to work. . The Room 216 was clean, Bedding the same and the bed comfortable, Standard tea and coffee facilities along with ironing Board, iron and hairdryer in room. Shower Room and Toiletries provided were standard but acceptable, Clean towels and spares on hand was a nice touch. Self service Breakfast was of a good standard and there was plenty of food on offer to suit most tastes, along with various drinks options,tea,coffee,Juice,water etc. The Sites location being a 3 minute walk to the Main redditch centre and shopping mall, and nicely located again around 3 mins from Redditch train station with links to Birmingham and various other Midlands locations. Free car parking at the rear of premises in its own onsite Car park with secure entry and exit points. One of the fastest upload speeds i have ever encountered on my travels in hotels measuring over 32 Mbps and download speeds of 48 Mbps plus on average, so ideal for streaming, uploading work data or just staying in touch with loved ones.
