Summary:
This bright and spacious first floor flat in Central Penzance is well suited for couples and small families. It sleeps up to 3 guests with one double room with ensuite bathroom and one single room.

The Space:
The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area has traditional Victorian high ceilings and a bay window, so is lovely and airy. The space is well-equipped with all the amenities you should need for your trip to Penzance. There is also a smart TV for nights in. Situated on a beautifully mature, tree lined road that leads straight to the beach in only 5 minutes walk. Several supermarkets are also within 5-10 minutes walk. Free parking available in the street right outside the property.

Well behaved dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the whole flat.

The Neighborhood:
The flat is part of townhouse in a leafy Victorian terrace. It is a quiet neighbourhood, but still centrally located so benefits from having shops, restaurants and attractions close by.

Getting Around:
Penzance benefits from very good travel connections with trains operated by Great Western Railway running right into the centre of town. There are also lots of buses running to other areas and attractions in Cornwall. So if you do not have a vehicle, it is easy to still enjoy your time here. For those that do have a car there is free parking on the street outside the flat.

Other Things to Note:
Please note: The ensuite bathroom is the only bathroom in the flat.

Flat in Penzance
The flat is on a pretty street which is within walking distance of shops, cafes and gardens. The check-in process was smooth and the flat is a good size with a kitchen containing everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small, the basin in the bathroom was tiny, and the shower would intermittently not readily turn off,

Located in quiet street with parking. Very clean and had everything we needed but few items needed updating ie shower almost impossible to turn off. Great communication from owners but couldn’t contact them to report the faulty shower. Suggest supplying top sheet as duvets too warm, but very comfortable stay.

Penzance holiday
The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped for a holiday in Penzance. It's a 20 minute walk from the rail and bus stations, ten minutes from a large Lidl and smaller Tesco and Co-op stores. The owner responsed very swiftly to messages, both before and during my stay.

So many failings - made an expensive stay unenjoyable !
Firstly, this trip was meant to be a respite for us, me with long Covid and my OH recovering from Major surgery! It was very hard to find the property to begin with - mentioning the scaffolding would have helped ! Eventually when we arrived the flat was a bust musty smelling, there was laundry in the washing machine. During the stay, security was awful, the front door was constantly open and with only a single yale lock on the door - people could easily come in and they were ! Rung the managing agents - they said would tell of problem to other tenants- this never helped - outer and inner door left open ! We were not told of the works taking place, so lots of hammering, setting off our dog - again complained - bothing happens! Then on the last day of the holiday - we decided to use their towels as we did not want our wet ones in the car! Also having long Covid we don't touch out her peoples laundry for at least 5 days! So I went to start drying myself and thankfully before towel touch skin, I noticed dirty brown marks on the towel ! Brown I can only presume from human faeces! All in all I really nasty stay and security risk !

Great location & dog friendly
Fantastic location close to restaurants, shops, parks & seafront. We always managed to find parking in the street outside the apartment which was handy. We took our dog with us & there’s a lovely big park nearby with lots of dog bins. Wifi was very good. Will responded quickly to our emails. Overall very comfortable & we would definitely stay again.
