"This was a useful stop-over on the way from the Med coast to Santander. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant provides a "menu of the day" evening meal option after about 20:00 at a very reasonable charge - although travellers from the UK might find the food a little unusual. "We booked as an overnight stop on a long drive so we were grateful for a good room and an easy location not far from the main route we were travelling. We were grateful to find a good hotel that was dog friendly as we were travelling with our Cocker Spaniel. The room was a little worn in places but otherwise a very good stay. "A warm welcome from the lovely Beatrix you are immediately struck by the chic decor and calming aromas. The owners have clearly spent a lot of time curating the decorative furniture, from the classic bicycle in the courtyard to the classical wash stand. The rooms are comfortable and there is a vast array of complimentary infusions available on the landing. Very convenient location if you’re heading for the ferry at Santander. "
