Relaxing vacation

Very relaxing stay. Loved the pergola for romantic dinners overlooking the pool and valley. Interesting hike up to two lookouts. Would recommend the coffee tour and trip to Marsella. Staff very friendly and their driver Jorge. Enjoyable massage with hot stones and relaxing jacuzzi.

If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is it !!! It is on a mountain top with beautiful scenery of the valleys in Pereira. There are plants and birds all around for the nature lovers, also there is a trail to explore the surroundings. It is very quiet, clean and the staff is super friendly. I can't wait to go back in May.

Surroundings are lush and green with many types of birds and a nice walking trail up the mountain. Unfortunately the pool was being remodeled while we were there and workers started using power tools early taking a bit of the morning magic away. Overall, a nice place except for the rugged road leading to the hotel.

This is a lovely spot, but is 25 min from Pereira, so it is rather isolated. We enjoyed that at first, as we were very tired. There is no where to walk, so our time was spent by the pool reading.The food was very good. We took some day trips, went to Pereira, not really a place to see. We did go to the Cocora Valley and Salento by private tour, it was lovely. Advise: allow at least 1 1/2 hours in Salento to enjoy the very charming town and good shopping (nice leathers and some quality merchandise, not all China stuff).

A Fantastic Place!

I think this was one of the most enjoyable weekend stays I have ever had. First, the staff is fantastic. They aren´t just polite, they act like they really enjoy their jobs and look forward to being of service. They were all amazing. Next, the grounds in certain places were a little rustic because they are doing construction at this moment, but inside the room it was a different story. The room was large, the bed comfortable, great linens, and everything clean and in good repair. Because of a new road that opened recently, this location is about 15-20 minutes from the airport, and the resort provided personalized transport to and from, which was very helpful and saved a bit of money. They also have pools, jacuzzis, a turkish bath, a sauna, massages, and a nice restaurant area. I could go on and on but am limited for space here. If you like nature, need a getaway that is away from the city yet close enough to be convenient, is luxurious and tranquil, I suggest this place. I will be returning here.

The hotel itself can be found at the end of a single lane backroad which can easily reached by car or taxi. The staff is friendly and the dining options are good and not overpriced. The entire property is relaxing and comfortable. The layout is lovely. On second look some details and maintenance are dated. One thing that bothered us were the less than cozy lighting options in the room at night. Basically full ceiling lights or two night table lamps that had mismatching light temperatures (warm white and daylight). The stylish bathroom came also with bright daylight lighting. (Good or bad depends on your preference) The torches or gas fireplaces were not in use but would have been nice at night. The breakfast experience was not on par with other high and spa hotels we have visited but not bad either. Overall I think it has been a pleasant one night stay. My expectations were perhaps a little too high which is no fault of the hotel.
