"The flat is centrally located, just behind the tourist information centre in Menton. The host, Alessandra, very friendly, supportive and helpful lady. The only drawback is that there is no lift in the building.. We had lovely time in Menton. Wish to visit again and stay at the same flat in near future. "

"This booking was a disaster. The garage entry fob did not work. When we arrived to the unlocked room, the linens were hanging and drying at the front door and the patio. The electrical box in the apartment was opened, and a sharp metal strip wasdangling from the bedroom wall. We requested a room for four people and two beds. We received a queen bed and a futon that one toddler could sleep on. At this point, we requested a refund from the owner, to which he agreed. We immediately returned...

We shortened our stay as we had seen all we needed in Menton. Our only gripes are the many steps to climb back up to the room if you walk into town for an evening meal. " We have just returned from a girlie weekend away to Menton and I cannot recommend the town or the hotel enough. It's just fabulous. The town is a beautiful mix of old and new, French and Italian. The hotel is clean, modern and spacious and the staff were just fab; nothing was too much trouble. The location is great, just across the road from the beach and promenade and just a few minutes walk from Menton Garavan station which made travelling from Nice airport super simple. We even managed a day in Italy as it is just one stop along the train line. If you're looking for someone along the Cote D'azur to visit, Menton is a must and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hotel Napoleon for your stay. X"
