1. I was surprised to see a major section of the hotel was under renovation and lifts for guests was severely impacted. 3 lifts present, while only 1 lift was allowed for hotel guests. At times waiting time took a good 10mins. 2. I had communicated via email to the reservation staff in advance of my request to extend my check out time to about 2 hours. To which, i was told my request had been accepted and that I will be charged a certain fee. However to my shock, on the day of check-in I was told i would not be allowed to extend my check out time...even after showing my email confirmation and that the agent did indicate in the system of my request. My request was denied at the time of check-in. I have stayed in several Ibis hotels including Adelaide , i am truly disappointed with the whole episode in Ibis Perth.

Staff were excellent but would not have stayed here if we had been told it was undergoing major refurbishment. Noisy from 7am onwards. Cramped room to begin with, no television for two days. Have loved this o is over the years, but this was seriously below par.

The room and the staff were lovely and worth the price However being located across from clubs and bars there were some drunks around and even trying to follow us into the hotel at night so be careful if you are travelling alone!
