"To say this place was fantastic would be an understatement. The apartment was so new, clean, and beautiful we wished we had stayed another night (we were only passing through from Budapest to Prague). Parking is easily accesible once you send your car registration to the hotel which was tricky for us at first but we managed to find it and get it done. This was a very last minute booking and by far is the nicest place we stayed in during our 12 day European trip. Breakfast was superb as well. "

"This was an amazing place to stay we could not have wished for more. Gorgeous place, all amenities, very clean brilliantly laid out and a new breathtaking view every morning. Stunning does not begin to describe the views! Local walks are in fabulous forest lots of different tracks and routes to walk/cycle. Minor issues sorted out with excellent communication from Clive.Neighbours who help look after the property, they even put our rubbish out for collection..Will definitely be returning. "

"This was a great property, especially for the price. Super clean and thoughtfully set up for travellers with much storage, places to hang towels and wet clothes, etc. If you are in older traveler or not in good shape, I would avoid the rooms with the loft beds. We had no issues with the steep steps to the bed, but could be hard if you are not physically fit. "

"Wir haben die FeWo bereits zum 3. Mal für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise gewählt. Sehr schnelles einschecken auch mit Hund empfehlenswert. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf einem Bergkamm gelegen. Überdachungen auf der Terrasse vorne und hinten. Parkplätze direkt am Haus mit E-Ladestation. 2 Bäder vorhanden. Wein im Verkauf ist eine Empfehlung."

"Der Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus war grundsätzlich gut. Die Beschreibung des Objektes stimmt mit der Realität überein. Das Haus war sauber, die Küche war bis auf die leider defekte Kaffeemaschine sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Grundausstattung des Hauses kann als solide beschrieben werden. Die Vermieterin war immer ansprechbar und konnte bei Fragen immer kurzfristig helfen. Aufgrund der topographisch hohen Lage des Objektes ist jeder Weg z.B. zum Supermarkt oder Bäcker eher lang. "Maria, the owner could be contacted directly and sent a local manager across to talk to us during the initial visit. They do not speak English but they do their best to make sure that with limited German (on my part) all matters were handled correctly. At some stage the house was renovated, some of the finishes could have been done better, but you also need to look at the charges for this property. All up a very quiet location, beautiful views across a wooded valley and good value for money. "

"We stayed in Berta room for 5 nights, which is on the ground floor and right next to the guest area. We could hear when other guests either came in late or left early. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is good and the staff are super friendly, Ksenija is a great host! The location is perfect!"

"Gostilna pri Janezu is a real gem. Everything was excellent, and we are certainly coming back. This is a beautifully organised modern building with tasteful decor. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves some amazing home cooking. The staff are kind, helpful, and multilingual, and they make sure each guest is treated like a king. Highly recommended. "

"Being there at a heatwave in Styria, this was a gem as it has air-condition in the rooms which was so fantastic. Also not cheap ones, these were from Daikin, very efficient and quiet. Price is absolutely ok, room has all you need, all pretty new and nice, more modern than traditional Austrian style. Room has also a balcony, quite nice to sit outside and enjoy a drink. Regarding beverages, there is a very convenient beverage vending machine, that includes wine and beer, everything reasonable priced, payable with touch credit card. Check-in was very easy, there is a touch screen at entrance (multiple language options) and once I did input my name, all details came up as booked with Expedia, confirmed it and then two room cards came out of the slot - and that’s it! Super easy, no fuss at all. Checkout is just to put the room cards into the checkout box, again easy and convenient. "
