An idyllic weekender & perfect escape from your busy life to relax & unwind by the sea. Whether it’s a family get together or a catch up with friends, Peterborough beach house is the ultimate base to explore this amazing stretch of the GOR. With striking views of the southern ocean you truly feel amongst the coastal elements. The property itself boasts ocean views, open plan living space ..

The Space:
Guest have full access to the entire house. You have plenty of space in this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom beach house with a great open plan living and dining area. The house itself oozes character with high ceilings, brick and timber finishes and of course the beautiful ocean views.

We have 2 fireplaces for winter to keep you warm. One wood heater plus an open fireplace.

The property is well equipped including a full kitchen, washing machine, fast and reliable internet, high chair, boardgames & flat screen TV.

BEDROOMS
Master bedroom is upstairs with a Queen and single bed with ocean views. This bedroom also has a split system to ensure you are comfortable no matter the weather.
Bedroom 2 is downstairs with a queen bed.
Bedroom 3 is downstairs with a bunk (double on the bottom and single up the top) as well as a cot.

HEATING AND COOLING
There are a range of options to heat and cool the house to keep you comfortable in all weather.

2 fireplaces

There is a split system in the lounge room and in the master bedroom.
The downstairs bedrooms are equiped with standing fans and heaters.

LINEN
All bed linen and bath towels provided. Please BYO beach towels.

There is a shed on the property that guests do not have access to.

The Neighborhood:
Close to all the major attractions with london bridge, the grotto and the arch all being a 5 minute drive away! 12 Apostles and Loch are gorge are more of a drive which takes about 25 minutes.

There are plenty of other lesser known natural wonders on your door step if you take a walk on the coastal trail directly across from the property!

You can also play a round of golf on the cliff tops for fun, or try catch a fish!

Peterborough is a 10 minute drive to Port Campbell which has many eateries & a great swimming beach.

Timboon is a 15 drive inland which has a larger IGA, chemist, banks etc & is quickly becoming part of a great little food trail in the area.

- Timboon cheese factory which is home to the famous Shultz milk.
-Timboon rail trail which is a great walk/ bike ride along the old rail road from Timboon

- Apostle Whey cheese & gorge chocolate both worth a visit ! The chocolate place also doubles as an alpaca farm so is a great stop for all ages.

- princetown wetlands & great ocean walk

Getting Around:
You will need a car to get to Peterborough as it’s very isolated from public transport. Once settled here a push bike or scooter is a great mode of transport or just walking!

Other Things to Note:
Peterborough is an amazing little coastal colleague that allows you to switch of an relax with ease. Due to the nature of the town there is a small general store, bottle shop, pub, fish and chip/pizza shop and coffee. If you require more than this you will need to come prepared or make the trip to other nearby towns.
