Cute small cabin
It was small, but clean. Not too far from Petoskey and beautiful parks with hiking. Shower was very small, but has the handheld showerhead on a hose, which makes it easier to rinse off.

This was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend! It was a bit bigger than it looked in the pictures, which was great. The shower was a little bit small, but very usable. The only thing missing qould be a sponge or dish cloth to wash the dishes with. Everything else was wonderful!

Pics are deceiving
Property is in a decent location, however the photographs and description do not really give an accurate representation. It is walking room only for one person at a time. Place needs a good scrub and I would not call the dock useable as it's old, rickety and boards are loose. We got there, set down our stuff and I distracted my daughter at Petoskey State Park while I looked for a hotel. We picked up our stuff and left. Counter was dirty, floor was dirty and the shower was disgusting!! Would not recommend unless you are desperate for somewhere to lay your head for a night.

Everything was exactly as listed and exceeded any expectations I had. The property manager was incredibly kind and helpful with local recommendations and made sure our stay was as seamless as possible. We had absolutely no issues and could not recommend the place more. The cabin was lovely and we had the place to ourselves.

Description of amenities overstated as usual on VRBO. Lake access from the cottage was through someone else’s yard. The place was small. I can’t imagine 4 people staying in this place comfortably. It was a bit of a challenge for just 2 of us and we struggled to find appropriate places to put our things. As a side note, get rid of all the pillows! They are just in the way.

My husband and I stayed three nights at the cozy cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage is exactly how it is described and even exceeded our expectations. It was an ideal location for visiting all the local attractions. So glad to find the bike/walking path across the street and enjoyed the Oden Fish Hatchery tour!

Great get away!
This cozy little lakeside cabin was a great get away for my husband and I! Perfect cabin for 2 people, had everything we needed. We brought our kayaks and went on crooked lake! Kayaked around the island in the beautiful clear water. Cabin is close to Petoskey and Bay Harbor area! Enjoyed our trip! Will definitely be back again!

Everyday we were there the owners checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Gave us tips on the area, even got us someone that would put our boat in the water when our truck broke down! We will be back again!!

Perfect place for a party of 2
This little cottage was great for our short, 3-night stay. The place was clean and quaint, and had almost all of the amenities. There is a futon for accommodating more, but I'd say 4 people is the absolute max. Tall people beware! This wasn't a deal breaker, but the bed was rather short and there was no iron. I'm only 5'7" and my feet were at the edge. Location was good for us too. Close enough to Charlevoix, Petoskey, and the beach. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I stayed here for a short girls' weekend. Everything was very clean and perfect just for the two of us. It was a great location between Mackinac Island and Petoskey. The only thing we noticed was a mildew smell coming from the a/c unit. Might just need a new filter. Thanks for letting us stay!

Cute little cabin
This cottage was cute, cozy and perfect for two people. Few tips..Make sure to look next to the shower for closet space, also there wasn't anywhere to put your clothes. What didn't hang up stayed in our bags. After taking to Rob (he was very helpful and informative) he said that they are looking to fix that situation by adding a dresser or shelves at the end of the bed. Everything is within driving distance from there. We had great day trips and ended up back at the cabin for a bonfire in the evenings. Sooo happy we discovered the Northwood restaurant across the stree, it's a must try. We were there twice for dinner and went over for breakfast on our way out. Never disappointed... Great food. Our visit was in the fall so we can't speak on a Summer experience but I would definitely recommend this place.

Comfortable spot near great beaches!
My sister and I stayed here for a beach weekend recently, and it was perfect! In order to be safe during the pandemic, we brought food with us and cooked everything in the cabin. It had everything we needed to do that, and was very comfortable. It's within ten minutes of the Petoskey state park, where we went swimming. I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Amazing little cottage, it's not right on the lake, but within a short walking distance. We brought our kayaks and it was easy to drop them off the dock. Management was very helpful, and made sure we had everything to our stat comfortable. The cottage is right next to a major road, but there was a white noise machine to drown out the traffic! The kitchen had a full set of dishes, silverware, pots and pans. The coffee maker is a Keurig, so make sure you bring k-cups. Overall an amazing experience, will for sure book again in the future.
