"Wonderful place. Super friendly on arrival and made sure we had a place to park. Great recommendations on what to do in Taranto. They made everything easy. Room was beautiful and comfortable, the terrace was lovely. Breakfast was also great. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night. Taranto is a fascinating city. The hotel is in the historic city, but at the edge, so it made arriving and parking easier. Easy walk to everywhere, including MARTA. The trattoria close by served excellent...

"Everything was fine at the beginning. TIt's a working residential/commercial area with a large covered market opposite. closed when we arrrived, but I guesss busy and noisy when open. getting in is a hassle for those not used to smart phones, downloading apps swiping, pin codes and so on. Definitely not for digital immigrants. the place is really nicely done out A lot of trouble has gone into it. 2 big problems (for us). First I was under the impression that B&B meant breakfast of some sort....

"To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. Then at Room 22, there was only one little window that face a courtyard and the shower was so small you couldn’t even turn around.
