"Hotel Sookie is delightful; we had a seamless stay there. The rooms have character and are a good size for Paris. We had a Spacey and a Comfy and both had room for a sofa(bed). The bathrooms are small but efficient and the shower was great! The only niggle was that there was no where to hang or put towels when used."

Hip, Youthful Vibe.

"Citizen M was a different hotel experience for me. I booked it because it was right by Gare de Lyon train station. The hotel has a self-check in but their are lovely people there to help. The room lights and features operate by tablet. The space is compact but comfortable. The bed is against the window so not ideal for a couple if one or both get up during the night. Not sure this would be a great place for more than 2 or 3 nights, a family, or if you have a lot of luggage. But I loved its rather youthful, "new-age" vibe. "

"It's a really nice, clean and modern hostel. The beds are comfortable and the curtain gives you a feeling of your own private little nook with your own shelf, light, mirror, plug, and a lockable safety box, big enough to fit a laptop in. There's a bar on location with various events (karaoke, DJ night, etc) throughout the week for your entertainment. The 5 sec.-at-a-time showers, though initially annoying, are an important environmental initiative that I appreciate. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place. "

"Would highly recommend this hotel. I think it might be a hidden gem of a place. Great location with lots of restaurants and bars around the area to choose. The service was excellent and staff friendly and helpful especially at Reception. Breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. Room was perfect and bed comfortable! "

"A true gem in one of the most coveted neighborhoods of Paris. Close to all the historic sites, Notre Dame, Saint Paul, le Marais, etc. It is centrally located and easy walking distance to a tons of attractions. The hotel itself is amazing! The decor, the amenities and the service were all top notch! I had one of the best sleeps of my life there. The personel was all very attentive and helpful throughout my stay. I have found my new pied a terre in Paris for future visits to the City of Lights. SoParis is an absolute must! "
