"Tina, staff member, gave us a mini tour and answered our questions when we dropped by in the morning we were to arrive (hours before check-in). It was a nice way to begin our stay. The king room had a great bed. Only one nightstand and a large jacuzzi tub in the main room, along with a tub and shower in the bathroom. Location is fantastic and there are chairs everywhere on the sand to watch spectacular sunrises. Dinner at the restaurant was quite good (white fish entree); free breakfast was just OK. Coffee in the lobby was very good. Staff were friendly and happily gave us extra blanket and pillow. Location on the lake and near the ferry terminals (and a great meal at Java Jake’s) - perfect for us."

"Perfect location with everything you could need on property! Bike rentals right in front of the hotel and restaurant/bar options! The front porch and yard had perfect areas to relax, hang out, and just take in all the island’s beauty! Would stay here again when coming back to the island!"

"Great newer hotel. Very clean and inviting. Rooms are nice and the room balcony and lobby is very nice overlooking the lake and Mackinac Island. We were thinking that it reminds us of a cruise ship with the patio opened at night. Although because of the sound of others air or heat running we couldn’t hear the waves that much. The free breakfast had biscuits and gravy, small egg omelets with cheese, make your own waffles (with fruit topping), cereals, pastries, bread and drinks. Sufficient before heading to the island in the morning. Great one night stay for us. "
