This was unexpected as we thought there would be a central indoor staircase. We made it work but we did feel separate from each other. "The property was exactly as listed - beautiful scenery and far away from neighbours so that you feel comfortable in your own bubble. Due to heavy storms we had a couple of issues with cloudy water and power going out, but the only thing outside of the hosts abilities was changing the weather! Whenever the power went Chiara and Davide came to our aid instantly and were nothing short of understanding and amazing every time. Cannot recommend this villa and host enough. 15/10."

"Room was cozy, easy access, free parking and very friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and coffee was good. We had late night arrival and leafy early. Only thing in negative side was the fetter pillows. First time ever in my hotel night, me being allergic, wish I did have a choice. "

Birthday getaway

"Stayed here for 14 days. Generous space with lots of room for multiple guests. We didn't realize the villa was two separate units. This was unexpected as we thought there would be a central indoor staircase. We made it work but we did feel separate from each other. Eduardo brought us lovely treats from a local bakery a couple of times which was very kind. You definitely need a vehicle to stay here. While it says there are a few things in walking distance we felt the car was necessary. Unfortunately, our vacation was during bug season - mosquitos and bees so we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor areas or pool. A wonderful addition of mosquito netting around the outdoor eating area would have been most welcome to enjoy the natural space. The owners daughter most kindly assisted us with a rental car matter and we were most appreciative of her time and help."

"John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. John and Dianne are in their home next door which was nice to know. They very much left us to it and didn't mind us playing our music by the pool. Otherwise we didn't see anyone else except the cats! Once you're installed, it's the perfect place for a digital detox although there is some basic wifi. The kitchen had everything we needed and the change of pace was exactly what we were after. I'm missing this lovely home already. Thank you for having us! Harry & Bruno."
