"The boat was well maintained and very clean. Casey is a wonderful host. We shared some wine and Dutch cheese and watched the sunset from the boat platform. Enjoyed every minute of our stay!"

"The boat is very basic but is in a great location not far from the centre of old Amsterdam. (Ignore Diemen as the location). It’s very cheap for Amsterdam which makes up for its basic amenities. You can make use of facilities in nearby cafes and the Public library. The surrounding area is just off the tourist route so you get to see how locals live. Cees was a great host, very accessible and happy to help out and give advice."

"We were excited about booking this property when reading the posting. When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. The strong odor of musty/mold greeted us when we opened the door. Host told us to just open some windows. Then we found there was a ladder type stairs to go up to the sleeping area. We are in our 70’s and can’t do stairs due to back and knee problems. But it was not listed in the...

"My initial Vrbo booking was cancelled 3 days in advance of my arrival. Not much to choose from but this place was available. Pluses - Quick easy communication with booking person. "Very well appointed, comfortable and clean house in Uithoorn, easily accommodating a family of five. The area is family friendly with a play park opposite the house. The tram station is less than a 10 minute walk away which will take you into Amsterdam South. The supermarkets are a 5 minute walk away. The host generously provides bikes which we took on a 28km bike ride to Amsterdam Bos and back. Cora the host was very responsive and friendly. We can highly recommend this property. "
