"My boys loved fishing in the creek behind the house and we all enjoyed the waterfall at the end of the quiet street! The house was as expected from the listing and reviews that we read and knowing that it is an older home. It would be nice to add a door to the bathroom from the kitchen. Also, the pocket door to the left bedroom was broken, though we were able to make do. Kitchen cabinets could use a thorough clean-out and cleaning. We had to pre-wash some pots/pans before use due to dead bugs....

"Everything was as described, clean, easy to follow directions, and easy communication with the host. Underrated but greatly appreciated was the hot water supply and water pressure out of the showers! The only minor thing was the pool stick was broken and held together by tap, still worked if held right though. Will definitely stay again when we come back to Corning."

"It was so quiet, peaceful and restful. It was in the middle of nowhere with trails in the woods, and wildlife all around. Close to Watkins Glen gorge, Seneca lake, and downtown. "The house was great! Well stocked. Unfortunately, there was a birds nest in the grill, so we decided not to use that. That's what happens when you're in nature though! The location of the house was perfect for our itinerary. It was just a short drive to Watkins Glen State Park. The bicycle path near the house was great as well! It's a wonderful area! Rick and Rebecca were great with communication during our 3 night stay as well. The washer and dryer were a lovely added bonus."

"Daniel's place was exactly as advertised. Everything worked out well for our group. There were four of us - all guys. Two near 50 and two mid 70's. We were there for the IMSA race at Watkins Glen. "Perfect hideaway. Owner was amazing when my check in notification/emails did not arrive. Super responsive and helpful to get me to the property. "House was a great gathering space. 6 adults stayed at the location and we had local family visit us while we there. The house was just as advertised and fully stalked for our needs. The added bonus aside from the great weather was the screened porch out back, the table and chairs on the lawn and the delightful front porch to drink our morning coffee.
