"We stayed for 10 days in the property as a base to explore Madeira. The property was perfect for all 5 of us, lots of space, well equipped and immaculate. Anna is the host and is the loveliest person. She had baked us xakes for our arrival and supplied us with extra beach towels when needed. "Pros: Had a wonderful time in your Beach House! The views were more beautiful than I ever imagined. Family had one of our favorite vacations. Cons: Showers need immediate repair. First bedroom shower downstairs was stopped up and the pan filled with water. The other 2 bedroom showers leaked and flooded the bathroom floors. A little repair would make a big difference."

"The Salt water villa was amazing. The location just can't be beat. It's on a small side street where there are only about 10 other homes all right on the water. every room except the kitchen has an unobstructed views of the ocean. It's close enough to Funchal for easy sightseeing trips but way better than staying in the city. The home is warm and charming with a true throw back villa feel. The only down side is the home is in the path of airport but honestly it's not that big of a detraction....
