The cottage has so much room, there were 6 of us yet did not feel on top on one another having the kitchen diner plus snug and upstairs living room. Rooms are spacious and the decor is beautiful. "Lodges are lovely and very comfortable. The swimming pool and changing rooms need attention. We stayed in February 2025 and 1 of the 2 showers in the women’s changing room was out of order. We have just stayed there again and it’s still out of order. The working shower is clearly getting overused so the drain blocks quickly and you end up standing in a big puddle of water as it won’t drain. Not the cleanest shower, grout etc either "

"Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like. Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time."

"A poor start when they failed to answer any of my emails, but my call was answered. The lodges, especially on the outside, were tired and a bit tatty, but everything was clean and functional. Beds were good and pillows were great. Very well equipped for self-catering and everything we needed for a family of four. The only irritation was that they allow pets and there was evidence of animal hair on decorative bed throws and cusions, but not enough to bother us. Parking was right beside lodge and...

"This is a perfect apartment for a small group to visit Fort William. It has a parking spot if you are driving yourself. It put us in driving range ti visit the Isle of Skye. Takes a whole day to do but worth it if you get over that way"

"The property appealed as the price is affordable . Other properties came with bells and whistles and my Son and I were on a walking holiday . Basic but very comfortable . Well equipped kitchen. "We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room. Lochs, Mountains and Forests

"Wonderful, restful experience. We loved our room with its views of Loch Rannoch and Schiehallion. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Food was good and we especially liked our breakfasts, where the staff (Magda) were extra friendly and helpful. The two down sides of our stay was a noisy flushing toilet and nowhere in the carpark to charge our EV. However, we were able to leave our car to charge in Kinloch Rannoch village, about half a Kilometre away. But we loved all the walks and beautiful views of mountains forests and lakes. we will certainly go to stay at this hotel another time!"

"Knowledge from staff very well received. All amenities excellent. fantastic size of tv but maybe too big for the time you stay, would have preferred smaller tv and a mirror on wall for drying hair, make-up etc. Still a great hotel! Thanks McKays.. Mrs.B."
