Hot and just okay
The entirety of our stay was hot hot hot. The air conditioner could not keep up. Staying on the third floor was hard witg them night temp being 78 degrees. We had to have multiple fans on us all night to stay cool. Infortunately also found broken glass a small about but still there on the kitchen floor the say we checked in. It was just okay. Did the job but would not stay here again.

Wonderful rental for families and friends!
The location was amazing. The host was accommodating and responsive. The ONLY thing I didn’t like about the place was the lack of blinds and curtains, but we saw someone else mention it in a previous review so we brought our own blackout curtains. We would definitely stay again!

Great Location near Zoo
Overall everything was fine with the house. Communication was good. I am going to list Pros and Cons. Pros House was clean Beds were comfortable Kitchen was nice! Shampoo/Conditioner/body Wash in both showers Coffee/Sugar/Paper Towels/Trash Bags/Toilet Paper provided All of these PROS made the house nice! CONS A full flight of steps to climb to enter apartment. Maybe I missed that in the description? My Dad is 91 and that was a LOT. There are no shades on any of the windows. If you want to sleep past 7am wear an eye mask. The towels were old and worn, mine had a hole in it and the wash clothes were old and rough. Toilet seat on main floor was broke and very cheap. Only 1 of 4 bedrooms had a nightstand and lamp. The living room is very small and the furniture is uncomfortable and does not seat more than 5 people. Landscaping needs help. Overall the house fulfilled a need for the weekend and the location was exactly where we needed to be.

A Great Home Away from Home
This place had everything we needed after a very long drive to climb onto bed, relax for a bit of TV time, make meals, & get ready for adventures from as a "home" base. Cortney thought of most everything guests would need! There were so many little touches like about 28 spices, cooking sprays, paper towels, toilet plaper, throw blankets on the sofa & beds, make-up remover wipes, hair dryer, full bottles of body wash, shampoo, & conditioner in both beautifully-tiles showers, & more! It felt like staying at the home of family or good friends because it was so easy to just be there! We only had to run out for food; all else was there. And the neighborhood was beautiful! We even met one of the next-door neighbors with the sweetest dog. The location was close to so many things that it made us wish we had much more time to see Pittsburgh, but we were there to go to Erir for the eclipse. Cortney made everything so easy, taking so much stress out of the journey! She responded back very quickly to my questions & was so helpful! She really created a warm, inviting atmosphere in this rental from the themed bedrooms to the personal touches everywhere to the beautifully-renovated kitchen & bathrooms. Walking in ti friend a welcome note with a bottle of sparkling cider was the cherry on top! My family & I appreciated the extremely quiet neighborhood & all of the thought & care that Cortney put into creating this inviting rental!

Retired Nurse Reunion
It was a fun weekend for nurses who have a friendship for over 60 years. We get together every year for a long weekend and we chose Pgh because went went to nursing school at Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland. The two sets of steps in the duplex weren’t expected but we took them slow. 😂 It also took us some time to to work the two key pad locks. Overall the retired nurses enjoyed their stay.

The location was close enough to the attractions (about 20 minute drive depending on traffic) It was clean and had many amenities including linens, toiletries, and basic cooking supplies including some spices. The area was quiet at night and the neighborhood had some nice old architecture. The landlord was available by message and responded in a timely maner to questions.

My family and I enjoyed our recent stay. The apartment was very clean and we appreciated having toiletries, garage bags, and cleaning supplies provided. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Host communication was very good. Had a minor power problem late at night and host responded right away. It should be noted that this is a 2nd and 3rd floor apartment. Which I was not aware of when booking as I didn’t see anything in the description that indicated that. If you look closely at the photos, you could probably figure it out, but I wasn’t looking for those details. Not a big deal. However, if you are traveling with little kids, like my 15 month old, the stairs could be concerning. Offering some baby gates to block them would be very helpful. I also have a 7 year old with cerebral palsy, so carrying him and his wheelchair up several flights of stairs is something I am capable of doing, but wasn’t expecting to do. Again, not major issues, but something to point out for other guests who may be Tracy with small children or someone who has a hard time getting up and down several flights of stairs. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay. Rhe neighborhood was quiet and I even had the chance to talk to 2 neighbors, who were both very friendly. The house was very close to the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium (8 minute drive even with Saturday traffic), which was great. We also went to the Ross Park mall and Pittsburgh Children’s museum, which were both less an 30 minutes away.

Our family came to Pittsburgh for the weekend. We enjoyed our stay at the house: it was clean and had plenty of space for my wife and 3 kids. Pictures are accurate. We definitely recommend staying here.

Great place in great neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay in the Highland Park neighborhood. Very quiet area, easy street parking and conveniently located to family that lives nearby. We had a small issue that was looked into right away. Communication with our host was immediate and attentive. I would highly recommend this property!

Good Stay
The stay was comfortable, and the beds are like new. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. I have a VRBO home and we meet and greet. This adds a personal touch and is a great assistance to guest on how to get around the home and the neighborhood. Additionally adding a few snacks, a few bottles of pop and beer is a wonderful welcome. These are just suggestions not criticisms. The important thing is that the home was very clean.

Gem in a cute neighborhood
This property is well-appointed with clean and modern furnishings, and it is the right balance of being close to a walkable business district and far enough away to be quiet. Cortney was beyond great in communication and helpfulness. I'd definitely recommend this property if you're looking for a more homey feel than a hotel and want to be in a nice city neighborhood.

We loved Cortney place, the neighborhood is in a great location and inside feels like home. You can tell Cortney put thoughtful little touches in the place to make guests feel comfortable and we sure did! We stayed with our 3 month old and he slept great! This unit does have a stairway leading up to the 2nd floor which is the main floor with 2 beds and bath kitchen and living area- another set of stairs lead to the 3rd floor with 2 more bedrooms and bath. We had a great stay and will visit again when we are in PA!
