Updated Victorian Charmer with Serene Backyard

Summary:
Beautiful old world character with modern amenities and a park like yard. This home away from home is only minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh, and boasts easy access to/from the airport, and a neighborhood full shopping, dining and scenic views.

The Space:
This property is a stunner! Soaked in natural light it features four great floors of living space and a park like yard with two tiered deck. A fully renovated and updated kitchen and large dining room with a huge table make enjoying each other's company easy and fun. Enjoy some games, foosball, grab a few minutes of exercise on the small ellipitcal, or relax on the couch with Netflix or that book you've been meaning to read. Our hope is that this place will offer you that home away from home.

Guests have access to the entire home and property.

The Neighborhood:
The mount is an absolute gem! It boasts easy access to downtown, the airport, the North Side (stadiums) and all other points East/West/North and South. We have a world renowned city view on Grandview Avenue where you also enjoy a choice of fine dining restaurants. You can scale Mt Washington and enjoy the spectacular view of Pittsburgh with a ride up and down the incline. Our main business district is located on Shiloh Street offering a number of great options for lunch, dinner or to grab a quick coffee. Be sure to check out the 10+ miles of hiking trails offered on the Emerald View Trail System. If you like architecture, check out Chatham Village, nationally acclaimed for its design and function, and stop for some coffee at Cafe Cravings.

Getting Around:
The property is right on a bus line. There is also easy access to the light rail (The T) at the South Hills Junction which is off Boggs Ave and Jasper Street. Lyft and Uber abound in the area.

This means we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. Comfortable house great location
The house was comfortable and clean. The location was great. Quiet residential neighborhood but easy access to a lot of Pittsburgh's sites. All the basics were well provided for and everything was nice and clean. Beautiful deck out back overlooking view of Pittsburgh.

Great location
This home is in a great location for exploring many areas of the city. We were just a short drive away from PNC Park, Heinz Field the Duquesne Incline, and the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood, and the house was clean and comfortable with lots of old Pittsburgh charm. We loved the stained glass windows and all of the beautiful woodwork. Thank you for hosting us!

It was a very nice and clean house to stay. The host was easy to get a hold of. The location of the house was close to everything we wanted to do on our vacation. The only issue that we did was with the bathroom in the basement. The toilet is in an awkward position and made it difficult to use for my family members. Other than that small issue, my family and I enjoyed the house

Comfortable place to return to from the city.
Comfortable place to return to from the city. We rented this house to be close to our friends who live in Pittsburgh and it was very easy to get to and a peaceful neighborhood to stay in. Especially for the small children we had along. The beds were comfy and the house was so lovely. We were close to the lookout’s over the city and would go out at night to look at the lights. We enjoyed our stay very much.
