"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Umaya Beach resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. It was a very calm, quiet, and relaxing stay which is what we were seeking. Enjoyed the use of kayaks and paddleboards. Staff arranged excursions and transport to and from the airport as well as a daily shuttle into Placencia. Everything we were looking for in a vacation!"

"Absolutely lovely spot in the village within walking distance of everything. Gorgeous pool and beach. Exceptional staff. Rooms are posh for sure. Ask for first or second floor as there isn't an elevator but strong folks took care of luggage! Definitely coming back."
