"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We had a great relaxing break at Emma’s cottage. The location is good with plenty of options for restaurants and places to visit. The pool is a real bonus and Emma is a fantastic host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. We will definitely be coming back at some point in the future as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended place to stay"

"7 friends stayed at the chateau for the marathon du medoc. The property is very large and beautiful. Quiet and tranquil. The main house is very well appointed and recently renovated with a huge TV, pool table, lovely cooker and the bedrooms were very large and beautifully appointed. The pool was awesome, and not too cold in September. We were able to cook comfortably for 7 people with good cooking equipment. Highly recommend"

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. "Fabulous property with stunning views over the Gironde estuary, the photos do not do the view justice. The pool is a great size and the outdoor area is a great size. Indoors the property is well stocked and the inclusion of fans in each room was very welcome during our stay. Owner was very easy to deal with and while there were a couple of issues during our stay he responded swiftly and was helpful. Miss the sunshine and views already!"

"Very luxurious stay. Incredible room - beautiful finishings and a view overlooking the lovely courtyard. The setting is lovely with a vineyard on site with a terrace. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant in Bages was a 5 minute walk and was lovely also although unless you have a car (or arrange a taxi which can be quite expensive we foune) there are not so many options around other than that but the hotel itself is nice enough to want to stay! "

"7 friends stayed at the chateau for the marathon du medoc. The property is very large and beautiful. Quiet and tranquil.
