"The host was excellent and responsive and friendly but the apartment was dirty not in a good neighborhood, no WiFi, no HOT water so showering was like the ice challenge, sheets were dirty and stained. We used the airplane blankets. Do not recommend at all."

"THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!!! We contacted Theodor who said to let the water run for 15 minutes, but after 2 hours it was still freezing cold! We messaged the Property Manager thru hotels.com and NO RESPONSE. While this apartment is very clean, small, and modern with accurate pictures, Make sure they have Hot water before staying here ! "This place is in the worse place in Athens. I paid for the room but did not sleep there. I never even checked in. When i reached the area it reminded me of harlem in nyc. Drug addicts and hookers all over this area. Id rather loose 150$ rather than have my car broken into or worse stolen! Poor communication with hotel staff. Never told me about horrible conditions of the area. They did not want to refund my money either. No arrangement took place though. I just left"

"Location is very convenient to get to the downtown shops and restaurants. Lots of large tours of students can't thru but the staff placed us above them so it was not a problem. The bar and breakfast were excellent. The pool wasn't open is my only complaint but it's unusually cold still. The staff were amazing."
