This stylish 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom villa is located on the beachfront in Playacar, just a 10-minute walk from central Playa del Carmen. Casa Moskito offers an infinite outdoor pool, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, free parking, housekeeping from monday to saturday and free 150 Mbps fiber optic Wi-Fi.

The air-conditioned Casa Moskito features a poolside terrace with sun loungers, a BBQ and a dining area. The lounge has flat-screen cable smart TV, free Netflix and bluetooth speakers, while the kitchen includes washer-dryer, oven, toaster, water cooler, two door fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

Casa Moskito is located in Playacar, a private complex with security at the door and guards 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, right in front of the sea and in the back has a golf club, it is very nice and the best place for live in Playa del Carmen, just ten minutes walk from downtown and Fifth Avenue.

Casa Moskito is a 10-minute walk from the Cozumel ferry terminal and Playa del Carmen Bus Station. Playa del Carmen Golf Course is 0.5 miles away.

Lively 5th Avenue and Mamitas Beach Club are a 15-minute walk from the villa, while Xcaret Eco Theme Park is a 15-minute drive away. Tulum and CancĂșn are both within a 40-minute drive.

Another Great Stay
I think this was our 3rd or 4th stay. Super location, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Jorge makes a great host. Only issue was the sargassum on the beach but certainly not anything our hosts could have done. We'll be back.

Great place for two parents and four teens. Easy walk to PDC. Excellent support from concierge (Jorge). As noted in other reviews, the beach has eroded in front of the house. Bad for access, but good for privacy. We would gladly return!

Paradise
Perfection! Fabiola and Adrian were such a bonus and we loved everything they made. Teresa was very thorough and nice. The kids loved the pool. Comfy beds and pillows and I’m picky about pillows so that was great. We really would love to come back
..it was hard to leave.

Great Stay
We have been coming to Playa for over 10 years and have always wanted to stay at Casa Moskito. Fantastic location coupled with a great property. The property manager Jorge is very communicative and makes the stay easy. The transfers from the airport were on time and easy to find once leaving the airport. I trust the powers that be, will address the issues associated with the beach but that will not prevent us from returning. Don't even think about staying here, book it!!

Perfect Paradise
Our family gathered at Casa Moskito for a perfect getaway. Location was perfect, views were spectacular and service outstanding. Perfect location with lots of privacy but still close to Playa where we were able to go out and walk to local restaurants with out a crowded hotel. Property manager Jorge helped us get set up with all we needed. His communication and love for a Mexico was a gift. The house needs just a little TLC but the views and amenities were perfect. If you want a luxury like a Ritz this is not for you. If you want paradise and perfect spot with everything you need this is perfect.

Amazing family vacation spot!
Apartment was the perfect size for 5 adults and could have held 6 no problem. Everyone has their own space, and never felt like we were on top of each other. Everything was very clean and AC worked like a champ! Jorge was a fantastic host and was super accommodating. The neighborhood is very safe - guards everywhere and the location is close enough for shopping and wandering but far enough from the constant “marcha”. Definitely recommend and will keep Casa Moskito on my list for the next trip.

5 Stars! Great location and property! Exactly as advertised. Very clean and not too much wear and tear. View was spectacular. Swimming was fantastic. Easy walk to 5th Ave. shops and dining. Jorge was a great host. Highly recommend Chef Edgar Ramirez (IG:@cheframirezedgar) who cooked 2 amazing meals for our group. Would book again.

Women’s Birthday Weekend
This property is amazing and better than imagined. It’s just steps away from the beach and the property manager Jorge is very hands on in the right way. Gave me a tour of bedrooms and showed how to work/access the property necessities. If you need anything, just ask Jorge arranged i’m masseuse and introduced us to 2 chef’s that prepared a birthday dinner. Property is in a gated community and a short walk to the Ferry and Calle Cinco. Need a good restaurant to eat at? Well, he nailed that too.

Fabulous house! Steps from the ocean, beautiful white sand beach.
Loved this house. Jorge was a phone call or text away when we had questions. Walmart and Mega were a quick 10 minute drive away. Picked up yummy pizza to eat at the house at Romeo’s. Each room has it’s own a/c unit for individual comfort levels. Beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas also provided but we stayed on the patio loungers. Safe area, guarded neighborhood.

Incredible view, ideal location, impeccable property
We thoroughly enjoyed our week with our two teenagers at Casa Moskito. Prior to our arrival, the house manager Jorge was incredibly helpful with referrals for everything from excursions to dining reservations to airport transportation to private chefs. He speaks excellent English and Spanish and was happy to communicate with us in either language. Once we arrived at Casa Moskito, everything was exactly as we had expected based on the listing. The space was impeccably clean and perfect for our needs. The home is RIGHT on the beach in a safe and quiet neighborhood and an easy 10 minute walk from all of the shops, restaurants and nightlife on Quinta Avenida. The lap pool is lovely for a cooling dip as well. We’ll definitely be back again!

Perfect Property in Playa
We are grateful to have had 8 gorgeous nights at Casa Moskito. Communication with Claudia, the property manager, prior to arrival and during our stay was great. We arrived to workmen next door but Claudia and security sorted this out immediately. For the rest of our stay our holiday was not compromised by the renovations. The house itself worked well for our group. It had plenty of room and ample kitchen facilities for the few times we cooked. Teresa came in each day and moved through cleaning very efficiently. We did struggle with the one hair dryer as our own did not work on their circuit. The pool was always clean and surprisingly cool considering how hot it was. The security was good and the beach was patrolled at night. We always felt safe. It was an easy walk to restaurants bars ATMs and shops. An ideal position. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Vacation dream come true!
Casa Moskito is in a perfect location nestled in a gated community between the community of Playacar and the town of Playa Del Carmen. There is a constant presence of security so you feel extremely safe. It is just a short 8-10 minute walk, through the beautiful ruins of Fase 1 or along the beach to reach the wonderful shopping available at 5th Avenue. The house was very clean (the house keeper came daily) and had all the appliances we needed to make drinks all day and dinners each night! The pool was wonderful and we brought some cheap floatys to enjoy a relaxing nap in the water. All of the staff at running Casa Moskito were extremely helpful and available to answer any of our questions or help us to find services in the area. The only negative for us was that we came to Casa Moskito right after hurricane Michael and there was evident damage to the beach in front. The sand had been washed away, therefore using the steps to go down to the beach (which was covered in sea grass the entire time) from the house was literally impossible, or about a 5 foot jump down if you are in good shape! But we just walked a half block down to either the north or south to the public access to get safely to the beach. Casa Moskito was definitely the vacation home we were searching for and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a low-key relaxing Caribbean vacation home to share with friends, family or even a romantic getaway!

Beautiful Relaxing Location
We've stayed in a lot of VRBOs around the world and this one was the closest we've ever stayed near the actual ocean, e.g., the tide normally comes within 25' feet of the infinity pool. The property location is also only a ten minute walk from the ferry terminal and Quinta Avenida, which is where pretty much everything happens here nearby. The house was perfect for a family size of 4-6. Jorge, our host was kind of enough to coordinate for our groceries, a massage and for a personal chef-cooked meal for our Thanksgiving (Chef Moti did a wonderful job of customizing and preparing our selected Mexican dish). We would definitely come back to this property again in the future.

Rave reviews...
Adding something new to all of the rave reviews that Casa Moskito gets is very challenging. The property worked perfectly for us as a family. Jorge is sensational as a host and we followed his recommendations which proved to be spot on! Memorable vacation for lots of reasons but the most is that the 7-year-old learned to snorkel in the pool. It is large enough that she "had to" swim at one end yet she felt safe in having steps and places to grab along the short lane. She wrote "Gracias, Casa Moskito" in the house diary. She also wrote in her personal journal every day about something special at the house. Can't say enough good things about this vacation rental. Very grateful for a peaceful, restful week!
