Le Gwez cottage - idyllic place near Matignon (2 km)

The holiday home "Le Gwez" is located in a very quiet area situated at 1.8 km in the south of Matignon. The beaches (6 km) can easily be reached by car or by bike. The house was renovated in 2018 and 2023 (new living room). The property has a large enclosed garden (1200 sqm). The house has a living room, a kitchen, a dining room and 2 bedrooms: one room with a double bed (140 x 190) ans one room with two single beds (90x190 ans 100 x 200). The cottage "Le Gwez" is the ideal accommodation for a couple or a small family.
Matignon is a good location to discover the highlights of the Côte d'Emeraude (Emerald Coast). The main attractions of the region are all within a short distance (Saint-Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Cap-Fréhel). If you like, you can also explore the varied coastal paths. In summer, there are water sports facilities in Saint Cast.
Sheets and towels can be rent for 10€ per person. Additionnal housekeeping may be arranged for an extra fee of 40€.

Lovely house in a charming setting
The house is really nice and light, with traditional french features like shutters. The conservatory has the sun in time for breakfast and then all day. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and the sofas are comfortable and smart. The wifi was good enough for our gamer son and to stream the football from England The bathroom is lovely with a powerful rain shower and plenty of hot water, and the beds are comfy. It is a 15 min walk into Matignon if you wanted to go in for a meal and a drink, as we did on market day, sitting outside the bar tabac/pizzeria, watching the hustle and bustle of the french buying their local produce. Several beaches within 10 mins drive. Perfect week for us!

Un très agréable séjour breton.
J’apprécie cette maison nichée au milieu de son jardin abrité par ses grandes haies, en pleine campagne bretonne, un vrai bonheur pour qui aime la nature. Merci aux propriétaires très à l’écoute, réactifs et efficaces. C’est avec plaisir que je retournerai dans ce gîte.

Lage inmitten von Landwirtschaftsbetrieben
Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos. Leider fand keine Grundreinigung statt, wir kamen die Kosten für Handtücher und Bettwäsche erstattet. Aufgrund der Lage zwischen zwei Landbetrieben mit Viehhaltung war am Haus kein Aufenthalt in frischer Luft möglich. Im Haus riecht es muffig und feucht. Lüften war ebenfalls ein Problem (siehe oben) und beseitigte den Geruch nach Feuchtigkeit nicht. Wem dies nicht stört wird mit der Ausstattung der Küche und WLAN zufrieden sein.

Calme et dépaysant
Nous avons trouvé une location propre. Les pièces sont spacieuses, un terrain clôturé pratique pour notre chienne. Le tout au calme seul bémol un tracteur qui roule trop vite. Nous avons apprécié le confort de cette maison après une bonne journée de marche. De nombreuses visites à faire autour de ce gîte. Je recommande.

Das Haus ist sehr schön mit einem großen tollen nicht einsehbarem Garten und nahe zu sehr schönen Stränden gelegen (10-15 Autominuten). Es ist mit allem was man braucht sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzerging über Email und funktionierte ausgesprochen gut. Das Haus ist für bis zu 4 Personen sehr zu empfehlen.

La maison est très propre et bien aménagée, tout est à disposition pour passer un bon séjour. Le jardin est spacieux et bien clôturé, et l'endroit est très calme, notre seul voisin est un poney dont la présence à ravi nos enfants! je conseille vivement ce gîte, c'étati parfait!!

Sehr ruhige Lage
Das Haus ist umgeben von hohen Hecken. Von der Straße her, kaum einsehbar. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und bequem. Alle Elektrogeräte sind technisch in einem sehr guten Zustand. Der Garten ist gepflegt. Das komplette Gelände ist Hundesicher eingezäunt.

Gîte très agréable,calme, parfait pour 4 personnes avec tout l équipement qu il faut. Seul petite remarque, éclairage très pauvre en cuisine et salle de bain. Le Gwez - Ländliches Ferienhaus bei Matignon
Wir waren im Juli 2022 zu viert (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) mit Hund im Haus. Es war alles da, was wir zum tägliche Leben brauchten, Internet und Tv funktionierten einwandfrei. Das Grundstück ist großzügig geschnitten und komplett umzäunt, was mit Kindern und Hund total klasse ist. In Matignon (ca. 5Min. mit dem Auto) gibt es einen großen Supermarkt, in dem man wirklich alles bekommt, was man benötigt. Die Cote d´Émeraude ist wundervoll, unser Urlaub war fantastisch. (..Marie Annick ist ein super lieber Mensch;-) ..) Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Très belle propriété, calme assuré
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, belle propriété avec de grands espaces, endroit très calme et agréable. Commerces et plages à proximité, 10 minutes environ en voiture. Nous avons visité Saint cast guildo, le cap frehel, les plages sont grandes et très propres. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et a toujours répondu à nos attentes. Le prix est correct et nôtre petit chien s'est régalé dans le grand terrain clôturé et sécurisé.
