"The perfect place to rest and unwind, not only to see the lakes (although they're stunning) but also to lounge in the hammocks, ride bikes and enjoy the woodland. In August the temperature was perfect. Warm in the day, cooler at night. Totally comfortable. The hosts are very friendly. Tjamks for a fabulous stay!"

"We stayed for just the one night to visit Pltivice and it served us perfectly and is in a perfect spot for an early start for the lakes. It's a family home, so is set up as if they had just vacated for the day. Communication from the owner and their daughter could not have been better."

"This is a large house that has multiple units in it so you have a shared main entrance and dining area but the rest is private. The a/c didn’t really reach any of the bedrooms which made for a hot/uncomfortable sleep. Location is good, 10 minute drive to the park which was our purpose for staying here. "

"3 couples stayed at the house for 2 nights while visiting the lakes. The house is set in a beautiful forest and walkable to the park. Every room is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s also sizable, so the whole group can hang out in the shared spaces. "Great 2 night stay! Room was top notch. Staff made it, especially the head manager/checkin clerk/ waiter/lunch maker/ park ticket buyer.... yes its almost a one-man-show! "We were only in the house to sleep after arriving late and then rushing back out to see Plitvice before it rained. We had a little trouble contacting the property manager when we first arrived to gain entrance into the home since we couldn't make a phonecall with our US phones, but we found a nice local who called for us. We liked how the house wasn't too far from the park entrance and we wish we had more time to enjoy the table on the front porch."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house and garden were lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub, especially on some of the cooler days. The area is beautiful and incredibly green and lush compared with the coast. Vedran was very helpful with suggestions as to what to do in the area - we thoroughly enjoyed our canoe trip and a visit to the bear sanctuary. Plitvice Lakes were stunning but very busy. I would recommend this house to anyone who enjoys being away from the crowds."
