Great hotel with wonderful staff. The Roman bath ruins underneath were wonderful. Everything about the hotel was top notch. Highly, highly recommend and will absolutely stay here if I'm ever in Plovdiv again.

Wonderful hotel
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location in the Old Town. Every one of the staff we encountered dealt with us in a very friendly, helpful and professional manner. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and spotlessly clean (as were the other areas of the hotel). The room had all the facilities we needed including a small safe, excellent air-conditioning and a good sized bathroom. The free mini-fridge which was restocked each day was both unexpected and a nice touch. There is a lovely courtyard area where you can choose to have breakfast which had a very good range of food available. An unexpected surprise was a guided tour after breakfast of the Roman bath and ruins in the basement of the hotel which we really enjoyed.

We had a wonderful four days in Villa Flavia. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a safe, a coffee machine, a tv including two channels in English, comfortable beds and a great bathroom. There is also free use of the contents of the room fridge which is replenished every day. The staff are all efficient and very friendly. The hotel is well placed in the city centre and you can walk easily to Roman remains, bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel also offers a short tour of the Roman bath in the basement. We had an enjoyable stay here and can thoroughly recommend Villa Flavia.

Unique and great experience
The hotel is very unique. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms and mini-bar contents are included. It was built over some nice Roman ruins and they do a great tour in the mornings. Awesome place and great location.

If you are traveling to Plovdiv for any reason this is the place! Close to everything. I had to get to the rowing canal every day and it was no problem. I grabbed line scooters and it took me 10 minutes and got to see some other parts of the city that I would not have otherwise seen. The staff was outstanding! Accommodating, nice and helpful. Spoke great English which for me was great!!!

Very beautiful property at a good price. The most interesting parts of the old city are incredibly accessible from here-- I frequently used some of the most major landmarks to guide me back to the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, as well as very helpful when it came to recommending things to do and places to dine. Perhaps one day I will return here again.

Villa Flavia is an excellent boutique hotel where everything is perfect: facilities, decor, historic building preservation, and a delicious diverse breakfast buffet. Right in the center of Plovdiv, at walking distance from historical sites and restaurants. Surrounded by a clean and safe area with nice shops. The hotel has a professional and courteous staff fully fluent in English who were attentive to all our needs. The hotel offered us a welcome courtesy drink and offered a very interesting tour to an archeological site (Roman baths) located on the premises of the hotel. Everything outstanding. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel! You don’t need to leave the hotel to engage with the antiquities of Plovdiv. Professionally preserved and interpreted the Roman baths in the basement were such a plus for this place. Centrally located between the ancient theatre and stadium, access is easy and you don’t need a car. Hospitality was exceptional! Rooms are large and clean. Breakfast is an A+.
