"I like The Copthorne. I left my watch behind in my room recently and house keeping handed it in and I picked it up on my return. Nice staff, clean modern rooms, quiet, great position for town, restaurants and shops, parking, all very good."

"Everything went well. I paid £89 for a double room. Room is spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, but a little of the expensive side @ £16 per head. Parking was easy. The staff were polite and friendly. No complaints."

"Nice hotel, comfy bed, pillows bit lumpy and did have to ask for water and tea and coffee to be replenished but no biscuits this time. But overall we enjoyed our stay especially visiting Marco Pierre restaurant. "

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival, offering recommendations and helping to make this a perfect base for my first visit to Plymouth. Very walkable from the train station and then easy access to The Box museum, shopping and dining options in The Barbican and surrounding neighbourhoods."

"Not quite sure it meets 5 star standard. Room space is lovely, plush and beds super comfy. Bathroom quite basic but shampoo etc provided. Spa ok but could with refurb now as facilities dated. One if the steam rooms out of order. Large glass door smashed and awaiting repair. Loungers by pool were soggy and stank. Lifts up to the spa all out of order Breakfast was the highlight. Ok hotel but nothing special. "
