Poinciana Park Holidays

The location was great. We didn't rent a car, so it was very important to be close to the beach and restaurants. We were with kids and they loved the location as well. Right across the street there is a large grass area so we could seat in the restaurant outside and watch our kids play ball. The rooms were a little tight for a family of 4 but we only stayed 2 nights and we spent our time outside. We went to the pool once which is on a roof of another hotel. It was a short walk and it was clean. The staff was very nice and greeted us with extra bottles of water which was great after a long flight. We also received voucher for a welcome drink in a restaurant next door. The Uber ride from the Miami airport was about 30 minutes.

The property was lovely and takes up basically a whole city block. The finishes are fresh and modern. The common areas are really nice. It’s a little strange that the front door of the property doesn’t open automatically and there is a little bit of an issue in the pick up drop off area because drivers have to make a U-turn but it’s not clear to an Uber driver where to come. The family pool is packed and they don’t really monitor how people save their seats so starting as soon as the pool opens in the morning, people have magazines laying on chairs next to the pool and then they don’t come down for hours. The beach staff was lovely and the service was really good, we Ran up big checks every day we were there, including the second day when we invited friends of ours to spend the day with us and ran up $1000 Beach check lol. My room had some maintenance issues when I arrived, the safe did not work, and there was missing artwork and expose nails in the wall, when I first contacted the front desk and maintenance to make these repairs, they gave me a little bit of a hard time Saying that I needed to wait in my room for maintenance to come, which wasn’t an option for me, as we were only there for three days. But in the end, when I reached out to the management staff, the management staff facilitated the repairs instantaneously, then graciously were overly apologetic andmore than compensated me for the inconvenience. They really went out of their way to make sure that I was happy
