"Loved this hotel! Very clean room! The harbor view room really does give an incredible view just like they advertise in their pictures. They have complimentary hot cocoa and coffee in the lobby which we really appreciated in the cold weather! The hotel was within 15 mins of everything we wanted to see. Overall loved it! Not the fanciest hotel but very cute and taken care of. "

"Gorgeous property with relaxing ocean views. Stunning trails and access to ocean. Dinner was amazing but we wished snacks and bar were open throughout the day, since check in was so late (4pm). Relaxing getaway!!"

"The place was perfectly tucked into the coast with easy access to the beach and very dog friendly. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin, and we had some noisy neighbors. Other than that, the place was great. I would definitely stay again"

"The staff was very helpful and kind. Genuinely friendly. The room was clean and they provided additional items as needed. I thought that putt putt golf was included in the stay, but was advised that since we booked through Hotels.com and not through the hotel directly that we would have to pay for golf. I wasn’t expecting that. That was a bummer. It’s kind of why I selected this hotel. "

"The view is spectacular. I took 1 star out, as there were noise pretty obvious from next door when taking a bath or so. Aside, during the stay, there was a rainy and stormy night, the sounds of the wind were loud and scary. My husband and I could not sleep well due to the noise level. Overall, I still love the view and I wish the noise level can be improved. Would definitely recommended to stay in this place, as it is such a beautiful hotel with nice view."

"Great location within a short walk or drive to Old town fort Bragg. Really comfortable bed as well. The guy at the front desk was amazing with recommendations and helping plan our drive up the avenue of the giants. "

"Overall a great stay, but the bed was too hard for us to really enjoy our second night. Attempting to sleep on your side resulted in stiff shoulders and hips and our backs were stiff as well. Kind of sad to spend so much money on a hotel room that you don’t even look forward to sleeping in the bed at. We stayed there in the same category of room 5 years ago when it was under a different name and ownership and never had any issues with bed comfort."

"They had issues on their end resolved before I even knew there was an issue - apparently they had overbooked and in doing so simply upgraded me before I got there so as to accommodate all I had requested!! Later helped me to find what I needed locally and were very knowledgeable of the area. They really summed up my trip PERFECTLY!!!"

"This is a great place - it looks very simple from the outside, but you get there and the rooms are awesome and the rooms with patios (not all have) have fantastic sunset views. A real gem for a reasonable price!"

A weekend getaway, a little place like heaven

"Just got married a week before, so thought we would have a little getaway for a Honeymoon.. I have been to Mendocino in just passing, but wow what a beautiful little place in the world. Wash your troubles away, and enjoy the ocean with each wave caressing the sand, and crashing up against the rocks.. It really is a beautiful place. And check out the small town, stay for a meal, or visit the toy shop, that has a little bit of everything, I was amazed for how small the place is, lol.. Back to the Inn tho, It was a great stay, never been to a Inn before, always hotels, or motels, not just a room. I was afraid we had to share bathrooms, not the case here, we have our own bathroom, and a decent shower to boot. They severed a nice little breakfast in a basket, nothing crazy big but a nice little something to start your day! They also served wine and cheese 4 to 5 pm.. Nice little bonus, and they have a beautiful patio / gazebo. The staff were super friendly, although only had 2 or 3 interactions with a couple of staff... It was nice to meet other people and learn where they come from, Im not a big peoples person, but was nice to interact with some during the wine tasting. other then that we kept to our selfs and just got to see the sights around the town, took some very nice photos... I would go back here hands down, even tho i prefer a hotel, its a really nice experience and I would do it again.. Hope this review helps, I had alot of fun here."
