Cooinda Estate is a luxurious & picturesque estate set on 10 beautiful acres in the heart of wine country. With spectacular views across 400 acres of heritage vines & incredible Broken Back Mountain. Offering a unique opportunity to stay together on one property whilst being able to retreat to own luxury accommodations. Perfect for families & group bookings. 10 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, the 5 residences are elegantly appointed to sleep 25 guests. (No bucks No unapproved parties, strictly no noise after 10pm)

The Homestead is a beautiful 2 storey Hamptons style spacious 3-bedroom property, with captivating views framed by stunning plantation shutters overlooking broken back mountain. Accommodating 7 guests with internal wood fireplace, smart tv, reverse cycle air conditioning, bathroom with bath, full kitchen and games room, complete with billiard table and dartboard.

The Old Cellar Door
A beautiful large multifunctional space with dining table for 24 seated guests to enjoy. A large wood burn log fire, 55inch smart tv, reverse cycle air-conditioning and large kitchenette, opening out onto the gorgeous English style courtyard and garden, makes a fantastic communal space for guests to come together for meals and social activities, group activities and more. Also boasting a large disable access bathroom.

The Cottage
An elegant country style cottage set in quiet picturesque part of the property overlooking the dam and frequented by our resident kangaroos. The 2-bedroom cottage comes complete with combustion fireplace, reverse cycle air conditioning, large private balcony with outdoor dining and BBQ, bathroom and kitchenette.

Italian Style Wood Fire Pizza Oven: Conveniently located near the pool, guests love making their own delicious poolside pizzas for everyone to enjoy.

Garden Courtyard + Fireplace; The ultimate Hunter Valley experience, curling up with a glass of wine under the stars warmed by the huge jet master outdoor wood fireplace.

Games Room: Complete with billiard table and dart board our games room provides a fabulous indoor communal space for guests to enjoy. We also have a selection of outdoor games.

Children’s Play; The property has 2 tree swings for hours of enjoyment by our younger guests. A netball ring, 12ft trampoline and a range of games, toys and puzzles.

Beautiful but not handicap friendly and hosts are high strung and will give you anxiety
Pros: Beautiful location although you’re adjacent to other properties, the view out of the backside of the main gathering building were stunning. Cons: The listing lists it as handicap accessible and unfortunately, we dispute this. We specifically booked this rental for our small wedding because one of our fathers is wheelchair bound. There was no ramp inside (only grass, if you imagine rain you can see how challenging this would be). There’s a tall lip on the bottom of the door to get inside that building making a wheelchair impassible. The other entry out back has sliding doors for the handicap room. These doors kept falling off their railings, this is without question a fire safety issue, a disabled person could easily become trapped inside of the door loosened its grip on the railing. Despite the listing describing itself as small-wedding friendly the hosts panicked when we mentioned catering and low voltage lights. Their behavior before our stay made us very anxious and honestly made the experience unpleasant. Beware of arriving too close to check in time. We couldn’t access one of the buildings initially, the keys provided didn’t work on the front entry and the doorknob was loose (probably because previous guests couldn’t get access either). We ended up having to call and break in through its garage. At check out the host immediately accused us of breaking said doorknob which wasn’t appreciated considering their own failure to recognize the issue before us.
