"Der Wohnwagen steht auf dem Gelände einer Jugendsegelschule. Er ist geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Allerdings ohne Kochgelegenheit, ausser einem Wasserkocher. Die Größe ist max. Für 2.5 Personen angenehm. 20 m entfernt ist ein Badesteg, an dem noch weitere Wohnwagen stehen. Unweit ist auch ein Sperrmüllplatz vom Jugendlager. Boote und Fahrräder konnten wir bei den sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern im Hafenbüro ausleihen. Ein hübsches Restaurant ist auch auf dem Gelände. Wer mit Campinggewohnheiten...

"Very well appointed, comfortable and clean house in Uithoorn, easily accommodating a family of five. The area is family friendly with a play park opposite the house. The tram station is less than a 10 minute walk away which will take you into Amsterdam South. The supermarkets are a 5 minute walk away. The host generously provides bikes which we took on a 28km bike ride to Amsterdam Bos and back. Cora the host was very responsive and friendly. We can highly recommend this property. "

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. We have explored the lake on the motor boat which was an exiting experience, not only for the children. "We arrived around 11:00 after travelling from 04:30 and were delighted that our room was ready for us. (Check in is from 16:00 I think)? Lovely warm, comfortable hotel. Our room was a great set up (family room). Two bedrooms, two showers and two toilets and a seated area where we could dine.Location was excellent too, especially for families, very close to shopping, train station and landmarks a short walk away.
