"We loved our time at the farmhouse! It was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen and the owner literally thought of everything! Location could not have been better! The Boxley elk were in the field, across the road almost the whole weekend. We took photographs from the front porch! The owner went above and beyond! We plan on staying there again! "

"The cabin was very clean. It was in a great location for short drive to hiking trails. We were there in mid to late October. We saw some pretty Fall leaves in spite of the drought. Most of the trails we hiked would have had beautiful streams and waterfalls in the Spring. The cabin was not fancy but it met all of our needs."

"We really enjoyed the cabin. It was very peaceful and beautiful. We walked around the ground and even got to see the roadrunner. The cabin had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The only suggestions would be for some kind of window treatments (curtains or blinds ) in the bedrooms. The host was very helpful in giving us information about the history of the cabin and the property. We will return again in the future!"

"Stairs getting up and down from the parking spot to the cabin were dangerous. My husband and I are in our 70’s and getting luggage back and forth plus coming in late at night was difficult. A few of the porch flood lights didn’t work. We had our 40 yr old disabled son with us and we had to walk him a long way around to get him in. There weren’t any hand rails on any of the areas with steps out front. "
