Beautiful hotel. Perfect location with easy walking access to all. The town with restaurants you can walk to as well. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. the room has an air conditioning unit. Very nice balcony overlooking the beautiful garden, just outside the room. The lobby and room is Nicely updated and attractive looking. It was a quiet. It had a nice looking pool, jacuzzi, and gym although we didnt use them. The area is safe and the building is quiet as well. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty parking spots in the attached covered garage, although its and extra 9 Euros a day. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also left our camera in the room by accident and they said they would mail it to us! What great service! We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay here. Friendly staff, big buffet at breakfast (they were very kind and accommodated my gluten free son with delicious GF baguettes every morning) The fresh squeezed oj each morning was delish! The Hotel is reasonably well located and with reasonable access to the city center. It takes about 10 minutes walking to the center. The staff was excellent and the rooms clean and modern. As a senior citizen, I would have liked rails (hand bars) for easier access and safety to the shower/bath. In particular, getting out of the shower was awkward. I found no tissues in the bathroom or sleeping area, which is nice to have and seems to me to be customary in most hotels. Finally, I was disappointed with the hotel breakfasts. Eggs were over done and juice was from a box (not fresh). In summary, we had a pleasant stay, the amenities were good, the staff was great. More attention to egress into and out of the shower could use improvement and I’m not sure I would have breakfast there.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Zen Garden in the evening to sit and relax with drinks. Plus the evening entertainment they brought in you could listen to out there. Great atmosphere. Plus you could sit by the garden and enjoy breakfast. Loved the large saltwater pool.

The hotel was good, great breakfast, other meals were also good on most days. Bathtub was a bit uneasy to get out of, slippery when taking a shower and there were no slip free mats. Staff was ok, not always helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at the Azoris Royal Gardens. The facilities are very nice and breakfast is included, which is a definite plus! The buffet has good variety, including different fruit, salad, choice of meats, eggs, cheese, and many types of bread. Juice, tea and coffee as well. We enjoyed using the outdoor pool, which was lovely and the perfect temperature. Plenty of lawn chairs and umbrellas with your choice of sun or shade. There’s also a small garden close by and a tennis court. The hotel is conveniently located to both the airport and the center of town, only a 10 minute drive and 10-15 minute walk, respectively. This was great for us because we didn’t rent a car. My daughter and I felt safe walking back from dinner after dark. The staff was very friendly and helpful, arranging a taxi to the airport very quickly the morning of our early departure. Note: there is a two euro surcharge for early morning rides to the airport (otherwise 10 euros). We would definitely recommend the Azoris Royal Gardens and hope to return soon!
