"Exceeded my expectations. The property is a bit dated / could use some upkeep, eg. caulking in the showers. However the property itself, views, pool, grounds was just incredible. Food at breakfast was also very good, staff was helpful. Really glad we stayed! "

"Lovely Villa high up with warm pool you need a car lovely scenery two minor problems with shower and toilet but they were fixed easy communications with Miguel lots of activities to book in Calheta lovely port and Restaurants. We had a heat wave in the 30,s while we were there good job we had air con in villa. Thank you Miguel for letting us stay in your lovely villa"

"C'est une belle maison, agréable, fonctionnelle, et très spacieuse. Nous avons passé 3 belles semaines en famille. Les hôtes sont très prévenants, toujours prêts à aider. La localisation est idéale: on est à proximité de la station balnéaire de Ponta Do Sol, à 30 min de Funchal en voiture et des premières belles randonnées. Bref, nous recommandons !"

"The property is so much bigger than it looked in the pictures. It is perfectly located on the sunniest side of the island . It is within walking distance to the beach and some lovely restaurants. Really enjoyed our trip to this island."

"We loved staying here, the property was very well equipped, had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed many evenings cooking in the outdoor kitchen then eating our meal on the terrace looking out over the beautiful views. The property is on a steep hill, so the walk down to Ponte do Sol although only just over a km has a steep climb back up. This didn't stop us and the views again were amazing. Whilst staying at this property we were able to walk one of the Levada walks right from the door...
