"Clean, comfortable, friendly helpful staff, and good food. Overall, great place to stay. Room smaller than I expected for a ‘Superior’ double, and not much of a view - through scaffolding and over a car park - but otherwise excellent. Be aware that there is no lift so if you are on the 2nd floor it’s a bit of a climb."

Lovely family NYE get away

"We stayed here as a family of 19 for 2 nights over New Year ranging from age 5-70. It was good as we all had our own individual cottages with kitchens, living rooms and bathroom which gave us our own space but the communal area is the Hall was being enough when we wanted to be together. Only issue was the gas heaters and log burners not working properly in a couple of cottages but electric heaters were available and there is central heating in two of the cottages. Host was great and was available quickly if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this property. "

A winter treat

"Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside. A fantastic hotel and fantastic staff, we really enjoyed our visit."
