"VRBO need to keep a check on these properties, because this one now, no longer looks as good in real life as what the photos show. On the plus side,this house has excellent WIFI,a great big freezer & large seperate fridge, great tv with Netfix, in English too, good selection of utensils in the kitchen & a lovely, but v v cold swimming pool, it leaks & needs topping up.We r campers, we are use to roughing it, but it was v disappointing when we first arrived. "We are tennis fanatics so it was lovely to have a private court in good condition in the grounds. Played every day. Nice pool to cool off. Villa was spotless and spacious and all the appliances worked. Be aware that towels are not provided. Dealing with Vrbo was not easy. We needed to talk to them about a French legal requirement for liability insurance and the only contact number I could find was a USA premium rate line. Cost me £35 for a 7 minute conversation and they failed to call me back...

"My partner and I enjoyed our stay in Pontevès. The village is very small but provided you have a car (which is a must!), you can get to everything very quickly. The area has many activities to offer and even +7 days was not enough time for us! Josette and Patrick were lovely. Host Franz was very friendly, told us about nice places to visit and good restaurants. Excellent strong Wi-Fi. Nice walk from house to Chatuea de Berne and day visits to Gorge de Verdon, Tourtour, Ampus etc. Massive market in Lorgues on Tuesday and many restaurants. Our favorite was Antr’nous and L’Estellan."

"A delightful property that was well equipped and comfortable. The area was quiet with a couple of restaurants within a 5 minute drive. During our stay we visited the beach, the beautiful Le Thoronet Abbey, the picturesque village of Tourtour and also enjoyed water sports at a lake in Bauden. All these activities were only 30 minutes to an hour away. The owners were helpful and friendly and took good care of the property. We can highly recommend staying here!"

"This is truly a pretty little house and I loved it! The house in essentially in the center of the village - nearby is the market area, shops, places to eat and buy food. The house is narrow- very old - with windy staircases which just add to its character. The hosts were easy to deal with and while we didn't use it, there was a washing machine. We opted to stay overnight in Aups vs Moustiers Sainte Marie which is much more touristy. Everyone was friendly."

"We spent a lovely three-week holiday at this villa. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The pool was wonderful. The garden is very large, and is in keeping with the surrounding landscape. There were lovely shaded areas too. The very large television was ideal for watching the Euro football. The hostess is very friendly. She lives in an adjoining property but is very discreet. The nearby town St. Maximin is about a 10 minute drive away, and lovely for morning coffees."
