"Nice rooms and comfy beds. Close to food and other necessities. Faint odor of cigarettes or something in room upon walking in. Overall it works fine, price was pretty high for a room as well even with reservations. "

"We liked the room it was very clean and quiet. The bar that is located next to the Hotel was also very nice but so loud that you heard the music in your room. I use to be the housekeeping supervisor at Holiday Inn in Poplar Bluff and so i k ow what it takes to clean the rooms after a stay and the housekeeping was above and beyond expectation!!! The only thing I would change is the website called our room 2 twin beds which it was really 2 Queen. I was worried we wouldn't have enough room for our son and his 2 small children,but it worked out with the beds being Queen. "

"Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Pool was clean and very refreshing. Guests were very polite and pleasant. One thing about would like commend another guest on is their honesty. Unbeknownst to me, I had dropped a personal check made out to me for over $300. As I was relaxing at the pool, another guest who I had several hours earlier at the pool, came up to me and asked me if I had dropped something and handed me the check he had found in the hallway. I was so impressed his character and honesty. I am staying here due to damages to my home from a tornado, my Dad graciously paid for my stay since my insurance is not wanting to do so. This young gentleman proves there are men of character. I did not get him name, but he is the kind of person I pray I am raising my own son to be. "
