"Staff were lovely, breakfast was decent and room was clean and comfortable. Location is in the middle of a retail park - views of a Lidl and decathlon superstore and lots of parking lots. Spa was additional cost and not of any note. Isn’t the same as it comes across as on the website. 30 min walk to the centre of Pornic. Not really a relaxing ‘spa hotel’ - more a utilitarian building in the middle of a dull area with a room with a hot tub in. "

"Good basic chain hotel. Comfortable. Lift. Breakfast was a bit expensive at €12 but good selection and staff tolerant of late eaters! Shower floor slippery (as per usual: i carry a mat with me now that I'm old and fragile). 7 mins walk (uphill) from station which is itself right in town centre by the old port."

The community residents (owners and renters) are a mix of older couples and young families, but it is quiet at night. "We spent 3 nights in Anne Laure's self catering holiday home in Pornic. The outside of the house needs some paint, but don't let this bother you as it is of no importance. The inside was super clean and very, very nice - all rooms are tastefully furnished in a beautiful colour scheme and are just as lovely as they appear in the pictures.
