"We really enjoyed our week as did our miniature schnauzer. The home presented exactly as described - spotless and with ample crockery, cutlery, pantry items and dog accessories. The view was amazing with dolphins present. The beach was minutes walk away and dog friendly. The property being not fully fenced was a minor issue. Property manager Deb was a great communicator. We will definitely be back"

"Really loved the location, serenity and amenities at this property. Every bedroom had its own private bathroom & views over spectacular Pirates Bay - which was a real plus for our group of four couples. The lounge area was large and welcoming and the kitchen was well facilitated for self-catering. Direct beach access from the property was a bonus. The location was perfect for enjoying numerous bushwalks in the Tasman Peninsula area. We'll definitely be back."

"Queen bed was very hard, mattress has collapsed. We tried the sofa bed instead. Sofa bed had a lot of debris under the cushions, but we found it unusable, could feel every spring in the mattress. Only 1 lounge was soft enough to sleep on, so we used cushions taken from other sofa and put on the bed for comfort, the other person sleep on the lounge. Not very romantic, for our anniversary. "We came to do walking in the south east of Tasmania and to see the auroa australia. We were able to do both even though the weather was a bit of everything. A lovely deck overlooking the beach and sea. A nice pub 5 mins walk up the road so we didnt have to cook dinner. A really peaceful and quiet area."

"Our stay was more like an extreme storm-watching spectacle than a weekend away. Fortunately the 270 degree view of the bay from the upstairs living area meant you had front-row seats. Even with hail lashing the windows we were toasty inside, and the dolphins seemed to be enjoying the white caps. I’m sure it would be lovely to sit out on the balcony in calmer, sunnier times but that would have resulted in hypothermia. There are plenty of cosy couches and places to play games and relax. "We loved seeing the many furry little wallaby-like Fucous critters around the park. The place was clean and warm. Unfortunately we could not get wifi in the cabin we stayed in which was disappointing. Otherwise we were very happy. The nearby Fox and Hound was described/recommended as "pub food" which I guess it was, but we weren't thrilled with it and found it to be pretty expensive. Port Arthur was exceptional!"
