"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

"Beautiful family chateau, plenty of space. Large rooms downstairs for entertaining, relaxing and playing pool. Two kitchens, with all the facilities you would expect including a plethora of utensils.. All Main bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and all with baths. Pool is a short walk from the rear of the chateau and the grounds are fabulous with a stream and a boat. "We were given a warm friendly welcome from owner Nicolas who showed us around his lovely homely farmhouse. The house looked stunning in the warm Charentes sunshine and is set in magnificent gardens filled with flowers and a fascinating variety of trees including cherry, apple, fig, olive, chestnut etc, etc. The top of the garden has space for games and would be great for kids. Although the house could sleep 10 we were only 3, my husband and I and our adult daughter. Our daughter had the upstairs...

"Hotel is on an industrial estate, out of town, but convenient for us travelling from Spain to UK, as not far off motorway. Room small, compact bathroom. Basic but adequate, tidy etc. Positive surprise was how good the power shower was and a nice, quality, good priced, buffet breakfast. "

"The hotel was beautiful and the staff beyond helpful.. Location was perfect in a beautiful street close to the main square and walking distance to everything. But you must be aware that its a small city ad taxi service is limited... i had to walk to the hotel from the train station and also on my way back.. all the taxis.were fully booked.. 1.4 km not bad but.with a suitcase is not fun... this not the hotel's fault... but you must be aware (the same is i guess for all hotels) "
