Nice lil community, but VERY noisy!
Family owned, mostly snowbird community & friendly! It’s dated, but it’s exactly as advertised. We stayed over two weeks, and we also own a small business, so I want to be as fair and respectful as possible…it’s so freaking noisy! You can hear the neighbors shut their cabinets, dogs barking all night, moving furniture with music blaring for multiple days, the office door sounds like a dying grackle, and here’s the issue, there’s nothing in the room to absorb the sounds. The connecting rooms bathrooms fans going off and on, something slapping the outside back wall, like loose siding or something, loud, we never got a break from the noise. It goes on all day and all night. It was not the relaxing vaca we had hoped for, I even bought sleeping pills, and still couldn’t sleep. I suggest putting the guest without dogs on different halls, no one should be conducting any business with truck stereos blaring in the am, get some rubber stops for the cabinets that stick on, carpet or wall hangings to absorb the sounds, and soft shut toilet seats. I’m absolutely positive our neighbors heard us every night, if we could hear their every move. Level the bbq area, and make that the rec area, vs having to walk through all those people blocking both sides of the walkway. Both times we had daytime relations, housekeeping came, we yelled “no thank you” 5 times, she came in anyway. The second time, my husband answered the door and said respectfully no thank you, naked. Functional, clean, friendly, but if your looking for relaxing and low key, keep looking. Oh, and it is walking distance to some stores and restaurants.
