The thermostat in my room was apparently stuck and The heat would not shut off overnight. I called maintenance and the front desk several times with no answer. I suffered through the night with the heat when maintenance arrived around 9 AM after I finally got a hold of them he made a comment that it was my fault because I had said it on that, I told him I didn’t. I just tried to turn the heat on and then he commented oh it looks like it’s stuck.

I can’t rave enough about my experience at the fireside inn. I have extreme anxiety it’s hard for me to leave home and be around people I don’t know but everyone here was so kind and genuine it really made me feel safe and at home staying here. Our room was beautiful with a large window and fireplace there was a gorgeous pool and sauna that stayed open late and a beautiful gift shop packed with snacks. Even the grout in the shower was clean. Thank you fireside for a vacation that I will remember forever.

The hotel is run down. Feels old, windows are grimey, curtains/carpet are dirty, telephone/fridge didn’t work and housekeeping didn’t replace towels. Weight room almost no weight and indoor pool looks murky.
