The Benson Portland, Curio Collection by Hilton

4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1002)
"We love the Benson and usually stay there when visiting Portland. The beds are so comfortable and the bedding is soft &
luxurious
. The historic hotel is beautiful. The only problem on this trip that it was that it was freezing cold in the lobby and would like to sit there and enjoy the fireplace and Christmas tree. It’s never been like that before and it was disappointing not to be able to hang out there and enjoy the atmosphere"

Sentinel Hotel

5.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1001)
"Facade of a
luxury
hotel, but it's not actually. Front desk people are not very interested in their guests, they don't offer to help you and don't have answers for questions. Only person that helped us was a valet guy. Stayed in one of the nicer rooms during the second leg of our honeymoon. It's an old place that management hasn't actually cared to renovate in any meaningful way. The designer was great which is why I mention it having the "facade" of a
luxury
hotel. But the rooms are really just...
