"Amazing hosts. Great communication even before we arrived in Portugal. Our train was late coming in to Porto. Thank you Sarah for your patience and your warm guided tour of the place. Booklet provided in the room gave us very useful and detailed info to all near by shops. Beautiful and meticulous design. Very comfortable beds. Centrally located. "What a terrible experience. The property requires an access code to enter the rooms and I didn't receive the access code for my first night. I spent more than 2 hours with hotels.com support while they tried to contact the property to get me into the room. I also tried contacting the property myself but they did not answer. I did get into the property the next day but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Worst of all, I contacted hotels.com for a refund and they said they cannot do it because...

"The location is great and in the downtown of Porto . Communication before and after check in were great. We stayed in Appartment no 6 which is facing demolished building and small street . Please note there is no Air Condition in the apartment. Our appointment was facing south so sun direct all day long which is really great if there is an AC .
