"Everything is in good walking distance and the pool was nice. Also the reception staff were really friendly and so helpful. Only complaints were the shower was half broken (probably should have mentioned it to the staff but I couldn’t be bothered) and the bed has probably been slept in by 10,000 people and needs a new mattress. "Really lovely stay Had a room over the harbour so saw the Bastille day fireworks from the balcony. Some extra special staff - we travel a lot and they were 110%. Special thank you to Marc especially who went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay.Nothing was too much trouble He also recommended some fabulous places to eat - all excellent value. "Our first impression of Le Carre Noir was breathtaking. The drive up was dramatic, the view spectacular. "The hotel was perfectly adequate for our 5-night stay. A good size room, comfortable bed / pillows and a good size balcony from which we could see the sea. The only negative / suggestion would be regarding the shower curtain which was discoloured at the bottom and could do with replacing. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast!"
