"Beautiful hotel, nice view and many restaurants near by! "

"We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, however, the decor seemed a little older. The mattress was comfortable, though it seemed like it had suffered some wear and tear. The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options. The restaurant where the breakfast was served was bright and stylish with great views of the town. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had to check out very early, and they gave us breakfast boxes to take along. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s very well located in the heart of town, across from the marina. The hotel has a free shuttle to the Faro beach which we used. "

"Had a wonderful stay, location is perfect. The train station is right at the door, shops and restaurants, churches and trams right there. It's a lovely area to stay, very vibrant even in the off season. Walkable to tourist areas. Our room was very spacious, clean and had a fridge. Wifi worked well. Bathroom was a nice size. *Note there are no tea/coffee in the room.* Breakfast was lovely, huge variety and in a large room. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!"

"Lisbon was our last stop after being in Portugal for 10 days. Although our stay at Esqina was fine, it was not as cozy as I was hoping it would be. I can't ding them on ratings, and I haven't stayed in other hotels in Lisbon, but it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel based on other places I've stayed in Europe. The bathroom was tiny and the lighting was odd. It felt more like a basic travel lodge, versus a cosmopolitan hotel. With that said, the location was great, breakfast was good. "

"I checked in on my 40th birthday and the front desk had upgraded my room without even requesting. We went out for dinner and the room was decorated with local bottle of bubbles, cake, chocolates and lavender pouches. Really made my day special! The indoor pool is nice with warm water! "
