Once in a lifetime castle experience to create unique and lasting memories.
This property was perfect for our Family Reunion. Jaws dropped as we pulled up to this ideal setting. You could feel the attention to detail in every room through the artwork and decor. There was so much space for our 14 guests with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There was great entertainment inside and out. We enjoyed the horseshoes and volleyball court, giant chess set and exploring the trails. The shuffleboard & pool tables were fun. We had a wonderful time gathering together in the theater room and watching the Olympic Opening Ceremonies. The massage chairs and indoor hot tub were a hit. The sound system with speakers in the yard was fantastic. There was ample room for parking several vehicles. We have stayed in many VRBOs where the garbage was overflowing before we even arrived. This property had garbage dumpsters large enough for all our trash. The owner, Heinz, was a pleasure to work with. He responded to all my questions promptly from the time we booked the property and throughout our stay. We had a power outage for several hours one day and he kept me updated with notifications from PSE. He also sent me a message when our house was ready for early check-in. That was terrific because our guests were eager to get settled in this once in a lifetime castle experience. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious enough to make cooking together enjoyable. Check-in & out was also a breeze which we appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay. We Highly recommend.

Nordic Hill Manor 2024 Reunion
This was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a “real castle”. This 10,000 square foot property had plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and space to keep our family group of 14 happy for two days and nights. We loved the grand staircase, beautiful bar area, fantastic kitchen where we all prepared meals together, huge dinning room that seats 25 where we played games laughing and having fun for hours. Did I mention the elevator, theater, spa in the turret or the massage chairs which we loved. We also took advantage of the extra large outdoor chess and checkers boards along with horse shoe pits. Yes there were minor maintenance issues which did not impact our overall enjoyment of the property and they have been communicated with the host.

Overall, house was wonderful and fully equipped. Immense space and tons of areas to explore. Rooms are well stocked and equipped, there is literally something for everyone. There is a fully equipped bar area, very large dinning room. Home was lovingly quaint, impressive and inviting. Beautiful kitchen with everything you could ever need, including 2 ovens a large stove and even a ice cream maker, just really great amenities. Very spacious and comfortable. All of our needs were met. And as an added bonus the back of the house is a host to many, many, many frogs who lovingly sang us to sleep, lol. Thank you sooo much

Amazing Experience
We spent the weekend with friends and family, everyone loved this place. It has a beautiful view and everything we needed for a big group. The hot tub was lovely and we all had fun playing bartender while hanging out around the bar. My nephew who visited for one of the days thought this was place the coolest maze, I think some of the adults thought that at times too! This was a really memorable experience for us and we were sad to check out. I hope to spend time here again for another reunion.

Getaway of a Lifetime!
We held our family reunion here with 18 of us ranging from 2 years old up to 76. This was an amazing place to stay. Besides it being large enough for all of us to have rooms and not need to share bathrooms, it is absolutely stunning! From the decorations, to the entertainment. The pool table, game tables, massage chairs, and hot tub were all fun but the highlight was the movie theater! That was the coolest thing ever! And there is an elevator which was a huge surprise for those that struggle with stairs! Big thumbs up and no complaints!!!

Absolutely delightful!
There were so many amenities we didn't even have time to take advantage of them all during our three day stay. Spacious and gorgeous, the manor comfortably held all 14 of us with room to spare. There was plenty of privacy in addition to common areas where we could gather. It was everything I saw online while booking and more!! From fresh flowers throughout the main floor to custom cookies welcoming us, the hosts have thought of everything. Our group was impressed and delighted from the moment we walked in the door. Love love love it.

Amazing Mansion
The mansion was spacious and had plenty of rooms for everyone. My friends and family had a great time using the various amenities, especially the theater and the hot tub. The owner also went the extra mile to accommodate us, even going as far as to bring us an extension chord to help out. I would highly recommend this place for anyone hosting friends and family for a weekend.

Nice property, needs maintenance
We rented this home for a family reunion: 17 people age 8-82. It is spacious, plenty of rooms, beds and baths. The kids loved the hot tub and seeing deer daily. It is very quiet as well. The manager/owner is responsive and friendly. The home a thorough deep cleaning and faucet/drain inspection. My brother repaired 1 sink faucet, and we found the living room sofa foundation had collapsed in one corner. Some kitchen drawers had crumbs and hairs in them.

Royally Good Time
We chose this location for our annual Girl’s Trip and had 16 women stay in the manor. We couldn’t have selected a better location. The castle made us feel pampered and like royalty. It had everything we could ask for and more. The property is well maintained and was set up for us with music playing at the entrance and Velkommen cookies in the foyer. The jacuzzi and massage chairs were phenomenal and much needed. It was such a peaceful location and not far from town where we enjoyed the local Viking Festival.

Great large space, with some allergy issues.
We were looking for a getaway with several couples and friends, and picked this spot for promising a bathroom for each bedroom and plenty of space and amenities. Overall it was a great fit - the theater spaces were very posh, the pool table was used a lot, and having lots of places to sit and read or chat was ideal for us. It’s 15 minutes from shopping so we could stock up and share meals very easily. The major caveat was some mold in the basement bathrooms and a few folks with dust and mold allergies getting sniffles over the week. (Posted mid-Covid and we’re still testing regularly)

Another epic weekend at an epic location
We had so much fun playing board games and card games all weekend. We love the Nordic Hill Manor so much. 100% chance we will return. Only complaint is that the 2nd fridge in kitchen does not keep food at food safe temperatures. It appears not to work. No it was not because the door was a jar. That complicated things. But still, 5 stars because overall experience was EPIC!!

Nice place to stay. Large home has plenty of room to move about and not feel cramped. Property was large too but it was too hot out so most time was spent inside. Owner was responsive to our needs (broken toaster, faulty a/c). The only issue we had was the strange skylights or whatever in the one bedroom which kept the bedroom lit up into the night and then early in the morning. Granddaughters had to cover their heads in order to get to sleep. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

This property is *extra* and makes for a lot of fun. I love the owner's dedication to fun glass and service ware. The theatre is so fun, the bedrooms are all very private, and the amenities are just what was needed. this place is not fancy in the way that makes you feel on edge- it invites you to make yourself at home.
