"We had a sweet stay at Francoise's place. It had everything we needed for a few nights in Cassis. While it was further out of town that we originally thought, it was a beautiful walk in (around 45 mins), and a very easy drive to the port area of Cassis, and most importantly, to the national park for the Calanques. Francoise made checking in and out a breeze. We had everything we needed and we were encouraged to reach out for anything. All in all, a great spot!"

Quelques points négatifs toutefois : chambres un cran en dessous (mais bonne literie), une seule sdb pour 4 chambres, pas de lave-mains dans les toilettes, pool house très mal aménagé, frigo américain qui ne fait pas de glaçons, pas d'ombre sur la terrasse."

"The property has everything you will need. For myself personally although dogs are welcome on looking houses have dogs which when let out did bark quite a bit which prevented letting our dog out for periods of time. The family are very welcoming and the father spoke very good English."

"We had an amazing family reunion at Domaine de la Citerne. The host was wonderful and the house was fantastic ! Everything one would need to have a great relaxing weekend was thought of and we spent much time at the house hanging out and relaxing by the pool using the grill. We’ve never stayed at a house so well equipped and would love to stay again."

" We had a lovely time staying in this lovely rustic French house. The house was well equipped and we felt completely at home. "It was a little strange sleeping in a bathroom- the photos and description did not show that the second bedroom also had the shower and washbasin in it. Notwithstanding this strange arrangement the house and beds were comfortable and relaxing. Bernadette is a non intrusive but available host. We have friends in Gareoult was in a perfect position to visit them"

"We are a family of 7 - two teens, two adult children plus one partner and two parents -the house was perfect for our group, lots of space inside and out, beautifully presented and the pool and outside eating areas are really nice and convivial. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and although this is their home, there is plenty of space to unpack and settle in. A trip into Aix is recommended. "

"Property was as described and was good for a group of our size. It was expensive for what it was but this was due to the time of year. We enjoyed the views, the fireplace, the grill, and the living areas. The bedrooms are all quite compact, and the furniture and cooking equipment was all rather standard - but acceptable. Our only suggestion would be for the host to refill the soap dispensers, leave leftover food between stays, and for some more substantial towels. But otherwise we were happy...

"The owner Marianne, and her husband, were so nice to allow us to check in 2 hours early. They gave us produce from their garden to use in our home cooked meals. The weather was extremely hot (95-100 F) during our visit and they request the air conditioning be off when you leave the house, but because part of the house is underground, it does not get hot induce too quickly. "Carole was fabulous. Very responsive and welcoming to her home. Outdoor shower and pool area were a highlight, and easy walk to town for food and drinks. House was well equipped.
